  1. Always good to see journalist and media types actually using their brains, and this is a great example. Good decision to included both, and well deserved for both. They are the face(s) of the NFL now.
  2. Personally, I hope the NE Patriots recover and do very well this weekend with a big win putting them back on track for the play-offs.
  3. I hope those Chicago fans don't see this as an opportunity to throw snowballs at their opponent. 🤪
  4. Well deserved. But his contract demands just went up.
  5. No. The Amazon Prime stream is awful. It is worse than the free dark web sites I normally use. My normal Prime is great, but their streaming is terrible.
  6. So when I see things like this, I have to ask: Where is the security, and why both of them are not immediately escorted out of the stadium, if not charges? This is the type of thing that makes it so unenjoyable for the normal decent person. This type of stuff does nothing to enhance my $200+ experience.
  7. Did anyone hear? Are they moving the game to Monday?
  8. This may also be a bigger commitment to use the TE by Dorsey and Allen. Morris has developed and has also proven he is reliable and more athletic than I thought when he is thrown at; for example, the TD catch on Saturday. I hope Saturday's game is an indicator of better things to come in how we use these guys in the passing game (I would add Gilliam, though not a true TE, he is used like one often and is also a decent pass catcher).
  9. Agree! Hopefully he keeps moving in the right direction and becomes a consistent and reliable force on that right side. I would guess, because of his size he will always have some trouble with smaller quicker outside rushers (but then again, who doesn't?). However, if he can keep learning how to neutralize them with quickness and smarter play, the potential is there. And, others have said, I love his nastiness--that is always a bonus for an O-Lineman.
  10. All things considered, I still would prefer the #1 spot.
  11. I was thinking about going, but now, I will only think about if ticket prices fall below the temperature.
  12. I voted Elam, but not being a coach who will know what should have happened on each play, I have no idea. Nonetheless, it looked like Elam played well.
  13. Because it just makes us proud about the high quality of contributors on this message board. Well, the many high quality contributors.
  14. If Morse is out, I hope Bates is back well enough to take over at Center. And then, who plays RG? Ike? I'm Rotten? The Quiz? Bobby No-Hart? I found it interesting that Quessenberry was the guy on Saturday. And to his credit, and Von Roten, they did quite well in the 4th quarter. So, with Bates back--I think--I'm not panicked about it.
  15. At the time, I was wanting them to get the TD. But this is why . . .
  16. And both had our hopes up for a time. Oh well, we just have to beat them on the field.
  17. Bills should win easily in Chicago. But I have been a fan of this team too long to be overconfident. This is the definition of a "trap game." = A game we will be heavy favorites in, on the road, a week before a hugely important game, and this is the NFL--where on any given week any team can get a win. But, yes, we should win easily.
  18. Yeah, this probably makes the decision for them (about Boettger). Bates is the Swiss Army Knife on OL, and I trust him at center. With him, it allows Mitch to take his time to come back; if he wants to and is able. Hopefully Boettger is ready to go. Although I thought Von Rotten and Quessenbury did decent after things settled last night. But man, can VR put more zip on his shotgun hikes, it looks like it is in slow motion sometimes?
  19. Actually, they just bought some land. I think they are seriously in conversations about a new stadium. https://www.si.com/nfl/bears/news/bears-confirm-purchase-of-race-track-property
