  1. Either would be an upgrade . . . although Clabo is younger and thus would have more value But we're the Bills, we can't be choosey
  2. I wanted Devlin
  3. just read it again, truly an all time Stadium Wall classic
  4. I think Nix is just bluffing, what's he suppose to say, "We're going to go hog while in free agency"? They'll go after guys that will make the team better; value guys that they want around for awhile. I HOPE ? ? ?
  5. Good to hear them talking about real football things!!!!!
  6. He's already a fan favorite, which won't get you too far on the practice field. Nonetheless, I hope he makes it. And as many have already said, if he has any inkling of ability, he's too big and attractive - in a football sort of way - to hide on a practice squad. If he's cut, be assured, he just really sucks.
  7. Per: http://www.nepatriotsdraft.com/2011-nfl-undrafted-free-agents As of 2:09 AM Bills (Bills UDFA Profiles) Zach Pinalto (TE, North Carolina) Sidney Glover (S, West Virginia) Dominic Cook (S, Buffalo) Brian Duncan (LB, Texas Tech) Reid Forrest (P, Washington State) Mario Harvey (LB, Marshall) Luther Davis (DE, Alabama) Emmanuel Moody (RB, Florida) This site has every team, too bad it's a Patriots thing, or I'd like it
  8. Are there anymore North Carolina players available for us to sign?
  9. No idea what he'll do, but certainly the responsible thing to do is to listen to other offers--everyone of us would do the same. But I do hope we keep him.
  10. Cardinals Pat Devlin (QB, Delaware) Oh dang! But don't worry, he'll be available again soon.
  11. Yeah, because you all know how we can't stand winners.
  12. Just checked his FACEBOOK page, says e's in a relationship, but it's "complicated"
  13. "Jenkins has a high motor" . . . he just moved to the top of the FA board
  14. I find it hard to believe "no one in the top 60" ???? Did this coe form Nix, probably not.
  15. From WIVB.com: "Hubbard appeared in one Bills game and has one career catch." . . . his one and only, been nice having you around Mr. Hubbard.
  16. I do not get the Devlin love that keeps showing up in various places on this board. WSS has it right, he couldn't hack it at Penn State, played behind average QBs ahead of him, transfered, was the right man to be a care-taker of the Blue Hens offense ("go in there, don't get in the way, and don't screw it uo"). I think there is an ill concieved fantasy that he is somehow going to be Joe Flacco -- but think, where was Flacco drafted? Why? Because he had real talent. Also, welcome BBD, look forward to reading your material, even if I do disagree with your Devlin idea
  17. "Also, as San Jose Bills Fan pointed out, having billions doesn't necessarily make you smart, just rich." But given the option, what would you take???? Also, I would suggest it does take some "smarts" to hang on to those riches . . . Exhibit A: The endless supply of broke ex-NFL players
  18. Or, to look at it another way: If he actually contributes, and the BIlls get something out of him, it's like a bonus now. Like finding a 20 dollar bill in pants you haven't worn in a while, it would be like an extra draft pick was found. GO MAYBIN!!!!
  19. Clabo A starting Tight End
  20. NO!!!!! to Devlin, don't waste the ink . . . there are much better options out there
  21. As you know, the Bills lost several draft picks last year to early injuries. Although painful at the time (no pun intended), the good news is these are essentially like draft picks this year, but with a year of study and acclamation under their belt. So, it got me to thinking: Which 2nd year player that did not play last year, will make the biggest contribution this season? Danny Batton - LB Marcus Easley – WR Ed Wang - OT I think Easley is the obvious choice, but I have a good feeling about Wang cracking the starting line-up.
  22. hope he gets all he can, it will be his last endorsement deal
  23. good idea, I doubt it will add much time -- whatever time is added, will be where needed, to get a call right
  24. 15-1, can't see us getting the Pats in Foxboro on New Years Eve, we'll be resting too many starters for the play-off run
  25. Dear Veteran, the players do have a choice: they can choose not play football, pay the $30,000 tuition like everyone else, and work and get paid all they want at the local McDonalds. Being a college athlete is loaded with benefits and privileges the average student doesn't get. No one is exploiting them. Anyhow, please come back to reality soon. Thanks
