  1. makes great sense to me
  2. And we kept him in-check, he got yards, but he didn't gash our defense like he did the Jets. He is good, and so is Fred.
  3. Deon called Brady out on that, and I'm by no means a Brady apologist, but the main highlight seems to look like he had an angle and a chance to make a play, but I saw another one from an on-field end zone angle, and that one showed he had no prayer. But it was still beautiful no matter what way you saw it. Regardless, my best moment: 0:00 - Bills 34 Pats 31
  4. yeah, I think that's fair . . . no argument from me
  5. Two thoughts: 1 - Vick's problems are not the refs, its his o-line . . . "how's that working out for you Jason Peters?" 2 - This team (the Bills) have made greats strides already this season, the next big step of growth towards maturity is taking care of a team you should beat. This week is one such game. I'm sure the team leaders and coaching staff will be drilling that into everyones' head this week.
  6. I'm so excited I think I'll head to work early, give the boss an extra hour or two today
  7. Did you see the play last night where Jonathan Scott, their starting left tackle (let that phrase sink in for a minute) was pushed into Roth., and he almost knock him to the ground. When I saw that, I said a little prayer and thanked God for our o-line (and let that sink in for a minute). To me its the Jets . . . it seems like the national media types have an orgasm every time they see or hear Rex Ryan
  8. I would add, even though they're not getting sacks, a better d-line and linebacking core helps these guys get (look?) better. Our defense is better, the stats may not say it, but I think those will improve in time.
  9. "It has been something special the past few weeks. It's great to see the 20 somethings and college kids get a taste of what it was like to have the team to look forward to week after week. When the Sabres are rolling it's like a small tornado.....but when the Bills get going, the whole thing turns into a category 5 hurricane. The younger generation has no idea of the power behind it. I think it's safe to say we at least now have a tropical storm warning posted for our area. " Great observation and way to say it Clip. Right now, its euphoric. It is not only that we beat the evil empire of the football world, its HOW we won, and WHO is doing it, and WHEN, etc. Personally, for us old-timers, with all the history behind it, and with the context of this win, I'm not sure any Super Bowl win would have spurred any deeper emotions in me. . . . But, I sure would love the opportunity to compare
  10. thanks dude
  11. already said: a real o-line, and the scheme which is getting him to the second level where his strength is a huge advantage, and he has enough speed to go straight when its called for
  12. Chronic, you're best non-Bills fan poster ever on this board, I think we should make you some kind of honorary Bills backer, or something?? Congrats on the Raiders win today, even sweeter that it was over the official blowhards of the NFL. Carry on!
  13. I think there was pressure, not the fear of getting sacked kind, but hands up, taking away the short stuff (the Welker stats notwithstanding), and getting four interceptions . . . yeah, lots of yards, but they did hold them to 10 points after the bad start and really, no running to speak of
  14. wonder where we'll be in the power ranking this week; but really, who cares, 3-0 and atop the division
  15. yeah, didn't Welker duck into that?
  16. I just hope Sanchez doesn't get hurt, I so badly want to see him self-destruct in front of a hostile Bills crowds . . . it will be like wolves on the smell of blood
  17. he is indeed, the man!
  18. I'll say it again, Freddy for MVP . . . not just of Bills, but everyone
  19. it must be a great day! good stuff Barbarian, good stuff
  20. I saw somewhere they said a chest injury, not good, but if true, much better than a head or spine issue . . . I hope it's so
  21. I just cried, really
  22. "And, an offensive line that the vast majority of this board was ripping from one end to the other ... screaming at the decision to cut Hangman who had trouble pushing across the line ... our line has stood up with amazing consitency opening holes for Fred and keeping the opponents off of the AMISH RIFLE!" Ftiz, Fred, Stevie, etc., all deserve the credit their getting; but no doubt the unsung hero's of this early season is the much maligned offensive line, another no sack day. Sure, the offensive system helps that stat, but it's the effectiveness of the running game that shows how legit they are. Outstanding job again!
