The issue with Jackson, is you need the right offensive system to go with him (which, I guess could be said about every QB). But he is singularly unique. If someone does trade for him, they should somehow, someway, invest in Greg Roman to also be a part of their staff. I bet the Dolphins try hard for him.

Get one of: Ben Powers (29), Dalton Risner (43), Nate Davis (52), or Ethan Pocic (57). And draft a quality interior lineman or LT in the draft. Then reshuffle the current people as needed (Dawkins to a guard? Bates to Center or LG? .... I'm assuming Morse will retire?). if so, the line can only get better.

And he will be from the draft--a Guard.

I'll take all the offensive linemen on that list.

I like the general "fix" idea of this thread; that is, "fix" the o-line. Concerning Bates, I think there is a very good possibility Morse retires with his concussion history. If so, Bates slides into the Center position. I agree with the idea of moving Dawkins. But I think the key in all this is, what/who do we draft? The answer => the best o-linemen available! All changes will be based on what that person(s) can do, or not. And it goes without saying, but I do--someone better be telling him, that Spencer Brown has to get better at pass blocking. Also, Tommy Doyle should be back and he was staring to develop. Is he a potential starter?

With his size, is he a potential Safety?

It was a good year on the field and a good year interacting with all the TBD crowd on everything Buffalo Bills. But I must admit, I have been much more productive this week, not spending hours reading everything I can about the upcoming game. And my weekend seems so free now. Good idea. One or the other of our Pro-Bowl caliber Safeties will not be back, and it seems to me Benford has Safety-like tools. Concerning the present roster, he looks like the most valid candidate.
