  1. yeah, as mentioned, except for a few incorrect details, it seems "On Point!" Need a DE, keep Stevie, and add help -- letting him walk would just open another huge hole to fill. And I love David Nelson, but he is a role player, not a #1, or 2 for that matter.
  2. Forget VJ, we have no prayer! But they better do all they can to resign Stevie, or at least put the Franchise tag on him.
  3. I absolutely thought the same thing at the time, the risk reward is a no brainer--presuming the 12 man strategy works and they stop them, the time runs off and its only a 5 yard penalty. I wonder if they'd ever admit they did it on purpose, if so, it was the smartest play of the game. Heck, I would have done it again.
  4. or should it be Some day, when I get to heaven, I will be told why Rob Johnson was starting that game--not that he played badly, but the bad karma that game generated--how can you sit your year long starter based on one meaningless end-of-season game????? The curse started that day still has a hex on this team.
  5. Giants Total Net Yards (450) + Patriots Net yards (402) = Combined Total Net Yards (852)
  6. DId you see Evan's production this year? HIs most memorable play was the one he didn't make--after that, the Ravens were demanding they should get the Bills 4th round pick.
  7. WIll the Bills move to Toronto? - Link to Toronto Article The definate answer is: "Probably Not!" And for that we are all grateful.
  8. How about we just sign our own Free Agent WR - Stevie Johnson, a lot of people think he's pretty good.
  9. Concerning Bell and Johnson - my perspective is we NEED to resign both of them, whatever the cost. There is talk of the BIlls going for LT with their first pick; so here we go again, letting a proven one walk (with questions, I know), and then being put in the position of having to use a top draft pick to replace him--if we can. Winning teams keep their developing players, which frees them to add players at other positions of need. For some reason, the BIlls have a systemic internal problem with this idea, and let good-enough people go, to open up gaps where there does't need to be. Looks like that is what will happen (just like the BIlls should do with Johnson if they can't work out a deal) Calais Campbell would be open to tag - Calais Campbell (DL) Arizona Cardinals Rotoworld — Free agent DE Calais Campbell said Monday that he would be open to receiving the franchise tag from the Cardinals. January 23, 2012
  10. How about some links to these guys for those of us too lazy to loo them up?
  11. AMEN! PREACH IT BOY! GIVE IT TO US! Why does everyone but the BIlls seem to know this???
  12. They would be foolish not to resign him, don't waste 10 seconds thinking about this--do it, and move on to fixing real problems! Not doing so, will just create more problems
  13. Notice, Mel thinks the Fish take him, meaning he would play RT - no way he replaces Jake Long. And that my friends is what he'll be in the NFL. If we're looking for a true LT, "move along please, move a long . . . "
  14. Mercilus = A bigger version of Aaron Maybin - average success on an average team, in an average conference, for only one year If Upshaw is there, take him - success on the best team in the best conference, for a couple of years Evaluate, and draft, based on results, not potential!
  15. San Francisco 49ers Alshon Jeffery, WR, South Carolina Surprised he drops this far down?
  16. As could have been predicted: How long it would take for the conversation to degenerate. Todays record = is six posts. Slow day on the board.
  17. That is exactly the point, how much public money is used by the NFL to build stadiums, lost in tax break, etc.,? . . . Hopefully, the FCC puts an end to this corrupt system soon.
  18. Yeah, he had a great National Championship game; and as it has been said, he is a true sophomore, not eligible.
