Who's Jeff Tuel? And where was this rumor? link? Found him on Google, from Gil Brandts site, link Jeff Tuel , QB (6-3, 218) — Tuel ran the 40 in 4.60 and 4.65 seconds. He had a 4.12-second short shuttle and a 6.90-second three-cone drill. He had a 32-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-3 broad jump. Tuel had a great pro day, and I suspect that he will have a strong showing when he has a workout with the New England Patriots on March 22. Tuel will be joined by receiver Marquess Wilson — who was at the combine — at that workout, which will be held at the University of Idaho. Tuel also has a two-day visit with the Buffalo Bills set up for April 8-9.

There has been a lot of angst about letting Levitre go--I get that, I do think he has been the most consistent lineman the Bills have had the past few years. Not spectacular, but good. I would have preferred they keep him. However, having said that, I think the Bills starting group this season will not suffer. My prediction is that Wood will be playing guard, and Snow or Brown will be at center. Or, Wood staying at center and Brown becomes the starter at LG. I think that is still a pretty decent line. Either way, I don't see us using the #8 pick to select an o-lineman, and the guys there now will do a credible job. In the end, I don't see a drop-off coming. Your thoughts . . .

- Smart drafting, possibly trading to pick up some good value extra picks (because we have so many needs) - Signing a few competent free agents that will have an immediate impact--some suggested Scott and Amendola, that would be a good thing - Many have suggested: WINNING => it cures everything - A minor miracle and we get a decent QB either by Jackson or some other FA stepping up, or a surprise from the draft . . . I certainly don't want to be here talking about the same QB needs again this time next year.

REALLY???? That has been the only knock?? The real irony here is that this teams' problem the last two years has been the lack of any hint of a Defense! But yes, letting one of your most reliable O-lineman walk, releasing veteran QB, that for all his inconstancies, still put you in position to win games, oh, and add to that, the total absence of a WR core now. Yep! Blow-up the offense, that's been our only problem all along. That's the only knock on him. Marrone = Greg Williams 2.0

All this is more of a commentary on having a poor GM than it is on Fitz. Should have never given him the big contract to begin with. Now you just fluseh 7 million dollars down the Cap Money drain. Fitz is/was a solid insurance policy, he'll be somewhere on a good team. And the Bills, we again start over - and with no real QB at all now.

Unfortunate, he looked pretty good when he return to in the 2nd half of this season. Would have been interesting to see what he could do if healthy, hard to believe he is only 28.

The more we learn about how the Bills are dealing with residing players -- or, not -- the more I think this is a dysfunctional system. WHy has there been so little communication with the current players--Fitz, David Nelson, and now Levitre, have all said as much. And whom would be responsible for that? Buddy Nix! My trust in him is getting lower and lower.

Starters are strong (assuming Anderson is 100%), I like Carrington--but he needs to be more consistent, same with Moore (if he returns) . . . but again, another position that is thin
