  1. This is what is most worrisome: "If his mobility and ability to plant off his back foot are hampered, his overall performance will follow suit."
  2. Our biggest problem: Kick coverage, specifically, Punt coverage! . . . I think you hang the last two games on poor executions of the punting coverage unit. You're right, as frustrating as I have been with Hackett at times, at least he has been getting results. And the Defense is a work in progress, and while not consistent at times (that's the price you pay with an aggressive blitzing approach), it is still much improved.
  3. i always have hope, and this year there is more to hope for then in awhile, i say 8-8. The schedule is hard, we're pretty banged up at several key positions, and unsure what to expect at others. Nonetheless, there is still improvement.
  4. if Brown is released, that certainly that opens the door for Antoine McClain, unless there is someone on another practice squad they have had an eye on?
  5. . . . and while your at it, ask about the four plays, especially the last, at the goal line
  6. don't worry, I've been a BIlls fan since before you were born, now back to your algebra homework, it's almost bed time
  7. haha, that's an old-school blast from the past of one the lowest moments in Bills QB history....and that is saying something
  8. I had the same thought, but then I remembered, we were at the one yard line with four chances earlier in the game . . . and how did that turn out?
  9. well, hate to admit it, but I was pretty awed by that last TD drive, he's still the best
  10. At this point, over-all I'm happy with him, with one HUGE exception. I mentioned this in another thread, but there has been one colossal fail on this team this season, and it has cost us probably two games: Punt Coverage!--and the Kick off coverage has been poor as well, we just haven't given up a TD yet. We've had some of the best special teams in the league over the past few years, and now we're near the bottom. The players are basically the same, so what's different? a new Coach whom is in over his head. Marrone needs to handle this now! This is not a "wait until we evaluate things in the off-season" thing. Just like last week we corrected poor QB and Punter play, time to correct poor Special Team play.
  11. YUUUP! I like Hogan and his story, he's a PreSeason All-Pro, "but all I am saying is, give Easley chance "
  12. Well, we get rid of our starting Punter (and that was the right move), and Brian Mooreman comes back and looks like an All-Pro. He again, is the best player wearing the Bills logo. He sends a moonshot when it is needed most with the team pinned deep in their own territory, and two Bills coverage guys miss play it by over running him trying to make a spectacular play instead of insuring they contain him. Boom, 29 yards later, an the game is over on one stupid play. I don't even know his name, but if Marrone is high on holding people accountable, is it time to make our Special Teams Coach accountable? Generally, our kick coverage has been bad all year, and you can't blame it on the punter this week. I think this is at a critical level, it directly cost us a game today. Someone has to be held accountable for the poor play of the kick coverage team this year, and the time is now.
  13. yes, why are we waste space and time on this thread?
  14. honestly, I didn't think it worthy of a penalty, and certainly not a fine
  15. he's the consummate professional, wish we had more like him
  16. stinks to be you
  17. The mistake was not getting a deal done with Rhienhart when they realized there was no hope with Levitre. He was not far behind Levitre or Urbik, and is much better then what we have now, and most importantly, could have been had at a far better price then Levitre--not a ceap price, but more realistic and affordable. And most important, he could play!
  18. Yes, the fail here was not having a reliable veteran QB ready in case something happened to EJ (meanwhile, keeping an injured kicker on the roster--that alone is bothersome, but doing it with only one backup QB???). Well, it happened, and it was quickly seen that Tuel wasn't ready. Hopefully the lesson is learned.
  19. sure, and throw in Wood too, and maybe Alonzo if they don't bite on the first two All-pros
  20. technically, he did not "hold out" . . . effectively, he "held out," and still is, with the superficial foot injury thing . . . And, if I did trade him, I'd trade him to Jacksonville for whatever they'd take for him
  21. two things: 1 - Who/When did they say Byrd was being traded? 2 - Tebow, baggage and all, would be a good fit for this team right now: He would certainly provided some energy/buzz and hope. Is he the longterm answer? No! But as was pointed out, his leadership and awkwardness would probably get a few wins in the short term.
  22. last year
  23. yuuup, nothing more to say
