  1. Jacksonville made this deal possible
  2. GREAT MOVE! Got a game changer, now go get lineman in the rest of the draft. By the way, I think this means Chris Hairston is ready to go.
  3. what ????
  4. Its finally here, so on this day, a simple thread - You're the GM, make the Bills pick. And give a brief one sentence explanation. And I'll go first . . . Eric Ebron (TE) - After all is said and done, the top OT's & WR's will be gone, so go with the difference maker.
  5. If we can still play . . . 1. Johnny Manziel Jacksonville 2. Jadeveon Clowney Houston 3. Blake Bortles St Louis 4. Khalil Mack St Louis 5. Mike Evans Tamps Bay
  6. I agree BB. When I watched him play, I didn't see anything special.
  7. And all Doug Flutie did was WIN!!! . . . yeah, we certainly don't want that around here. I think we should draft Manziel, and sign Tebow, and we would be the lead story on the four letter network all pre-season.
  8. He is intriguing, I think the Bills will try to get a starting quality RT in the 1st or 2nd round, and a versatile lineman who can play and push for a starting guard and/or tackle position in mid rounds. Maybe this guy fits that profile?
  9. Aren't we all?
  10. James in the 2nd would be a great thing
  11. Unfortunately, I think you're correct. If this happens, I say take Ebron, he seems to have the most upside, and I don't think there is that much separation between the 2nd tier OT and the top 3—so get one in RD 2. And, not sure Beckham is worthy at 9. Thus, either Ebron or one of the top LB or DE available.
  12. Well, any contribution from him will be a bonus. And if he does develop into a regular contributor, it will be a great story, and the Bills will then be reconsidered smarter than the Seahawks, right?
  13. you win And, why do we act like this? Two words: Aaron Maybin.
  14. And how important are kick returners in the 2014 version of the NFL? . . . little to none!
  15. That is my fear, that none of the QB's are going to get picked, and the really elite players will all be gone. If that happens, I say, find a dance partner, trade the 9th pick away for a decently slotted 1st round pick, and other depth picks. or, Chris Hairston that guy???
  16. I would be good with trading down to mid first round, drafting him (or someone like him, Moses, etc.) and picking up another pick as part of the deal.
  17. I really don;t care whom, as long as they keep it in WNY
  18. yuuup "my sources" say, the Bills will trade into the middle of round one to pick an OT, and gain another pick in the draft.
  19. then run away from him as fast as you can
  20. okay, I could warm up to this, but do not give away the number 2 …. we need that to draft a RT. If the Bills could somehow pull this off and keep the 2nd round pick, it would be a good deal
  21. 0HvUcdh.uxfs based on this report, I will take Blake Bortels at 9 !!!!
  22. So, the evidence suggests: Being 2nd Round geniuses will get you what, 6 wins a year? New strategy, lets try to be good in the 1st round.
