  1. This may explain CK’s retirement. A huge pay reduction, and it appears with a narrowing chance to get signed to the varsity squad, not worth the time at this stage of his career.
  2. 50-7 Bills DofC gets no seat in congress and they get no vote here!
  3. Same thing I was thinking. Buffalo has always been known as a destination retirement place.
  4. But most years, South Florida and the Hilltoppers would probably beat UNC in football. 🤪
  5. I feel good about our chances on Sunday, the Washington Generals have not won a game in years.
  6. Wow! You were privileged to be at Urban Meyer's only career win as a coach. What an honor. 🤮
  7. I'll be "get off my lawn guy" and say it: Alcohol ruins the fan experience for so many who just want to go and cheer and watch the game while a bunch of idiots get liquid courage and say and do stupid things that make it uncomfortable for so many people around them that have to endure the stupidity. It is not always like that, but unfortunately, it has been my experience more than not.
  8. I love this paragraph, and I think it is all true . . . "We all can be sure that Sean McDermott is not telling Josh Allen that those 50-yard throws into double coverage are okay. No, Sean McDermott actually understands football. Sunday it was clear that Sean McDermott and Ken Dorsey had taken Allen out behind the proverbial woodshed and whipped his proverbial butt and told him the proverbial beatings would continue until he stopped playing like a proverbial jackass. Or something like that." @Shaw66
  9. I wondered the same thing during the game, but according to the snap count, he played 32% of the defensive plays. But I never noticed him.
  10. They did call it, but there was an off-setting holding penalty.
  11. A get right game, and they did. Now we move forward with confidence.
  12. Ugh! Okay, time for the Defense to show up.
  13. That's why the number of games is what the stats are based on, not seasons. Mahones has played 81 regular season games, and Josh has played 78 games—almost the same. And as I said, there are a lot of variables and ways you can read and interpret stats (see Mark Twain, "There are lies, damn lies, and statistics"). I do agree, style-wise, that Lamar is a better comparison. The point here is he fumbles too much, no matter what type of plays are being called.
  14. HAPPY GAME DAY! Let us all hope and pray we have a much better ending this week—it's time to take out all our frustrations on the merry Raiders. LET'S GO, BUFFALO !!!
  15. If this were the differentiator, then why is Andy Isabella or Hardy not lighting it up.
  16. But the fumbles are the one thing that separates him, and this is where the recklessness shows up. Mahomes, in one more season than Josh, has 10 career lost fumbles. Josh has 21. Games . Fumbles / Lost . Interceptions . Total Turnovers . Turnover % Pr Game Allen 78 54 / 21 63 84 1.08 Burrows 43 20 / 9 31 40 .93 L Jackson 71 44 / 16 39 55 .77 Mahomes 81 31 / 10 50 60 .75 I realize there are other variables. For example, the number of passes attempted will give you another view of the interception rates. Or total snaps/plays might be a better point of reference for total turnovers. Or fumbles versus running plays. Or touchdowns to turnovers, etc. But the bottom line is our boy commits more turnovers. If he can improve that, he could dominate this league.
