  1. I would say that both Urbik and Mills made a pretty strong case for staying in the starting lineup. Urbik has played well since filling in for Miller—Miller may have more upside in the long run, but I think Urbik is more consistent right now. He is like that pesky mole that keeps digging up my yard, no matter how I try to get rid of him, he keeps coming back and doing his thing. I don't really want him around, but you have to admire his perseverance. And as many have said, Mills did an outstanding job. I say stick with what works, and in this game it certainly worked.
  2. 6) Give the O-Line credit. Protection was better than expected. Watt didn't terrorize. They were outstanding! !89 yards rushing, only one sack, and that was the fault of poor coaching—a not very good blocking tightend one-on-one versus one of the most athletic DE in the league. Anyhow, considering the circumstances an opponent, they were OUTSTANDING today.
  3. What? You are expecting we at TBD to have well-reasoned, thoughtful, fact-based, opinions and perspectives? …. What fun would that be?
  4. that would be incredibly funny, if it weren't so true. … he would fit right in with our special teams
  5. So in essence, the playoffs start today for the Bills
  6. Rex Ryan …. look how good his Defensive Scheme is, just ask him, but ignore the results
  7. And no mention of the three (3) idiotic non-red flag calls and even more stupid red flag try on the Woods pass???? Ugh!
  8. I believe you are correct: "Affect" - affect is as a verb, meaning "to impact" and "Effectiveness" - effectiveness is an adjective, meaning "adequate to accomplish a purpose; producing the intended or expected result"
  9. If you can get a money kicker who can put a huge majority of his kick-offs through the end zone, hits 90% of his film goals, and has a 60 yard leg, then yes!!!! …. Considering how valuable a great kicker can be to a team (points, field position, etc.), he is well worth a high round pick. I'd go as high as end of the 1st, or certainly 2nd, round with a "can't miss" (literally and figuratively) kicker.
  10. That's a far too reasoned response and perspective, how can you not think the entire NFL is in on this conspiracy to keep the Bills out of the play-offs? And you call yourself a Bills fan.
  11. have the seen the Cowboys offense lately? I wouldn't want any of my players around that. But then again, if we did sign him, we take care of our "who will be the captain this week" dilemma.
  12. it wasn't a touchdown and it wasn't an interception for the same reason: you have to complete the play, and this happened in neither incident
  13. 1 - Top OL prospect; Incognito is playing well, but older, the Tackles are uncertain, and we could improve at Center 2 - QB: If there is a good longterm QB prospect, get him! You can never have enough depth here 3 - LB, need depth, maybe upgrade a starter—but hard to get that kind of upgrade in the 3rd round 4 - WR, as we have seen this year, still a positional work in progress and in need, a big and fast target would certainly help 5 - DL: Mario and Kyle are getting worn, time to start the slow rebuild there The rest: best players available
  14. oh, you had to say the obvious….just when I was starting to get some real hope
  15. and with the proliferation of the passing game in the NFL, it make complete sense
  16. that has to be it!!!!! Makes more sense than anything else sexy Rexy has done
  17. I wonder the same thing as it happened, all I could figure is they said his progress was stopped before he went out? Very similar to when Shady hit the turf on that last drive.
  18. Prophetic, and I really can't remember another one????
