  1. "A quarterback's greatest asset is leadership." -- Roger Staubach Bills Coaches since Wade: Rex Ryan .500 Perry Fewell .428 Chan Gailey .333 Doug Marrone .469 Dick Jauron .421 Mike Mularkey .438 Gregg Williams .354 Now that is interesting, unlike this thread
  2. On Washington, from WalterFootball, sounds like a great quality pick in the 3rd round: Summary: In 2015, all the attention was on Joey Bosa because of what he did during Ohio State's National Championship run in 2014, but Washington was arguably the Buckeyes most consistent defensive lineman last fall. . . . As a senior, Washington recorded 49 tackles with seven tackles for a loss, four sacks, a forced fumble and a pick-six. Bosa had all the attention, but on a weekly basis, Washington was causing havoc at the line of scrimmage. At the Senior Bowl, Washington had an impressive week. He dominated the first practice, killing the offensive linemen in the one-on-ones with explosion out of his stance, speed to close, strength to shed blocks and speed-to-power. In the following days, Washington wasn't as overwhelming, but he still won a lot of reps and was very tough on offensive lineman. . . . As a pro, Washington will be on the field to get after the quarterback. With his quickness at the point of attack and ability to get to the signal-caller, he has Pro Bowl potential and could produce quality sack totals in the NFL. . . . Washington is on the bubble of the first and second round.
  3. Billings has medical issues, 31 other teams have passed on a guy who many thought was 1st round material.
  4. Glad to see two big people picked, from big time programs, with lots of accolades, and who know how to win.
  5. Dak Prescott - Mississippi State QB …. probably won't last past the 3rd
  6. I like his music, I hope he sticks …. maybe a few pre-games concerts at the Ralph?
  7. A solid re-sign, he is a good depth player that has grown and become a regular contributor on the field.
  8. Wow, the sky is falling . . . wasn't this actually a strength of the team last year?
  9. well, we do know this, he will be highly motivate for at least two games this year.
  10. "Might not be bad for the team either since Whaley's been horrid at 3rd and later picks anyway in six seasons. " . . . What???
  11. Cardale Jones, if he is a late round (5th or later) and . . . that is just scary
  12. "No matter how low key TT is, his handler threw Rex and the defense under a bus. So weighing all the outcomes is a must" That was just the truth, same thing every poster on this board has said. Rex is a clown,a nd the defense sucked. They certainly got more out of TT than anyone expected. You do realize their 1st round pick is 32? That does not interest me at all. Better be a lot more to it than that pick and washed-up o-lineman.
  13. I would agree, if the OT is rated better than your other big needs.
  14. Always like him as a player and much more so as a person. He'll be successful at whatever his next career is.
  15. Why 8-8? Why 19th Ranked Defense? The Scheme was flawed, didn't match the personnel Which created a lack of trust in the coaching staff Which led to morale problems Which resulted in poor results … from 4th to 19th Thus there are two issues on the table: Will the lack of any significant off-season moves or changes, change anything? And, if there is not immediate improvement and results with the Defense next season . . . how long do the Pegula's put up with this clown show, stupidity, and embarrassment? Rex, there will be no Mario to blame it on this year. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm predicting Rex is fired by December (and Kim and Terry are usually not quick to pull the trigger on Coaches).
  16. Deep down in their hearts, GM's admired him. He did his job, can never fault a person for that.
  17. Hank Who? Resigning him? I didn't know we had him to begin with.
  18. Agree . . . Defense doesn't have to be hard. A simple straightforward approach doesn't mean it is weak. Sophistication doesn't equal effectiveness. The only time getting cute and out-smarting your opponent is relevant is when you have lesser talent. No one thinks that was the Bills Defensive problem last year. Just weaker talented and lesser Coaching.
  19. Does this guy (Rex) have any sense of a moral compass that influences his decision making? Is it completely missing? He just seems to have no clue when it comes to judging people. Are they only hired because Rex knows them? Or--and this is what I fear the most--are these Rex cronies the only kind of people that will work for him? Of all the people in the world, he has to hire this guy. I guess he is a good match for the kid-beating oline coach.
  20. And he forgot to mention our Defensive sucks, so a move Philly makes all the sense in the world. Heck, one more season with Rex and I might move there.
