  1. I think it highly unlikely the Bills will trade--not because they don't want to, but because the asking price will be too much. Other teams are thinking the same thing, and it will become a bidding war of magnificent proportions. I don't see Beane selling the farm to get any of the top four, and for this reason, I believe that either Rudolph or Jackson will be there at 12, and whichever one is, will be your Buffalo Bills first pick in the 2018 draft. That is probably too high for both, but if you want to draft a starting QB, they will be your best options at 12. Personally, if both were there, I am most intrigued by Mason Rudolph, but I would not be disappointed with either at 12.
  2. sign as after-draft free agent
  3. Yes, you are correct. And like Allen, he came from a lower level of college play, so that too raised many questions.
  4. Why do all the experts have Allen going 1 or 2, and why is the Politically Correct thing to say on TBD to not take him anywhere? I hope the Bills draft him just for the entertainment value it will be on this board. It will be better than the Tyrod tussles on here. GO BILLS! DRAFT ALLEN!
  5. Probably the last contract of his playing career, he doesn't need them anymore.
  6. "I'm done" .... Okay, we are all sufficiently shocked by your dramatic departure. We'll let the Administrators know so they can discontinue your account.
  7. Philadelphia 76ers have been using it for a couple of years.
  8. With a lot of young talent, the 76ers are a fun team to watch .... and they are back in the playoffs
  9. Now I'm not going to sleep today
  10. The darkhorse Bills pick at 12: Rodolph. I think he fits the McDermott and Beane mold.
  11. That would be the before mentioned Jimmy Spags
  12. I like it. But if both Mayfield at 12 and Jackson are gone at 22 (which I believe they will be), then Rudolph at 22.
  13. Here is what the Bills have gotten in the second round in this decade .... helps explain the futility: Buffalo Bills 2nd Round Draft Picks since 2010: 2010: Torell Troup ... Did he ever play? 2011: Aaron Williams ... Often injured and had a career-ending injury 2012 Cordy Glenn ... Traded away, had a good run 2013: Robert Woods & Kiko Alonso* ... Both had productive time in Buffalo, but neither are here now 2014: Cyrus Kouandjio ... See note about Torell Troup 2015: Ronal Darby ... Traded for a player who also never played and is probably now gone 2016: Reggie Raglad ... Traded, we'll see what happens with that pick 2017: Zay Jones ... Not looking good right now * This trade did give us Shady McCoy, so it has to be the best pick of the lot, but more by luck than design. Beyond that, not one consistent and longterm contributor to the Bills organization. Ugh
  14. Sad, hopefully, he gets the help he needs.
  15. Well, what do you expect? Good players with experience are not affordable and/or readily available as Free Agents.
  16. Added to that, while I'm sure he is always going to be very coy in expressing his true thoughts, is that he said he has not made a decision on the QBs, or that they really don't have their draft board built yet. No doubt, what happens in Free Agency influences that. So, apparently with the bulk of FA completed, the next six weeks will be focused on the draft. Personally, I'm hoping they hang on to their picks and get six potential starters in the first three rounds.
  17. How could the jets not know all our plans, they are so clearly laid out here on TBD. Why would they take away our ideal draft partner? Not Fair!
