  1. Apparently not, according to the statistics?????? But if you just want to win the argument, I'll call it: You win, now we can all move on. Thank You.
  2. I agree and I think if Bodine comes back totally healthy, that position is covered, focus on guard and tackle improvement. One other big need for the online, NEW COACH. I truly believe that is the first position that needs to be changed, then we can build from there. Miller and Mills handing out hall passes to the Jets d-line.
  3. This is a joke, right? You are really funny. .... The only person taking you seriously is you.
  4. That speaks volumes. Considering most of the KB & Holmes stats are Benjamin's, makes my loath him even more. I hope he costs the Chiefs a chance at the Super Bowl with a dropped potential game-winning pass in the AFC Championship game. Then the entire world will see what we saw this season.
  5. I think a lot of those bruises can be assigned to his offensive line, or the lack thereof
  6. Is thread management like a game management QB?
  7. You realize you're talking about a rookie here right, what does he have now, 9 games?
  8. On the bright side: We had a 100-yard rusher again We also had a 100-yard receiver, is that a 1st for the season? Our draft position improved A lot of young guys getting valuable playing time Sets up the Patriots, they'll be taking us lightly ? Finally, our ST coach has sealed his fate
  9. This loss is on Special Teams, and for some inexplicable reason, conservative play calling on Defense. Oh well, improves our draft position ?
  10. How about a blitz, did we throw that out for today?
  11. Can we just release Clay at halftime?
  12. So, I'm confused? Was he on our practice squad? the Browns? Or, was he a street free agent?
  13. I think the point is, and that you rightly make: If there is a way we can improve the Oline with proven veterans, that is a better option than drafting them for many reasons. One, they have done it! Less risk. Two, related to one, any drafty is a risk, no matter where they were picked--the NFL is ripe with examples of high draft picks at every position who turned out to no be worthy of their draft status. Three, it allows you to go after other needs in the draft--and this could also be vise-versa, signing skill players and drafting lineman. Four, lineman generally take longer to develop, so the impact of drafting them takes time, it takes patience, do the Bills and their fans have the patience? Five, related to item four above, the one person who suffered the most for that online development time is the QB who is taking all the hits--can the Bills afford to pay that price with the new shiny toy at QB? Thus, I like the idea, but we know getting them is not as simple as wanting them. Nonetheless, if it could happen, I think it is the best way to build the Oline; that is, mixing skilled and proven veteran signings with your own draftees who are developing.
  14. Everyone slows down when they look up to track the ball. The same thing happens in baseball, we are always telling young players not to do that, get to the spot, then reach to catch the ball.
  15. The only surprise here is Holmes, too?
  16. It seems Boetteger is getting more snaps lately. I think he had a pretty decent pre-season. Let's hope he progresses to make a real impact. Interestingly, there seems to be no thought of moving Ducasse back to the right side.
  17. I hope you are right. Like many others, I was curious to see how he would do, but the Josh show was so captivating it took all the attention. We'll have to leave it for the pros at TBD to decide.
  18. So, it's pick your poison ????
  19. Fair point. Mayfield is doing it more the NFL traditional way, have to agree. Both of have of them have detractors. But both bring a lot of excitement. I'm just glad, as a Bills fan, that one is on our team and is very quickly making this team relevant on the national stage. Let's hope it continues for many many years.
  20. Agree. Right now it is pretty even between Allen and Mayfield. Trying not to be homer fan, but I think Allen has the slight edge in upside potential--you can't teach the combination of size and athleticism.
