  1. Oh, we’re keeping the Package under wraps, wait it’ll we need it—it will blow you away!
  2. McCoy Tyrod White Schmit K Williams D-Line 2nd unit (came up with some big plays) And why did I see Humbler chasing guys around the field again (always just see his backside), wasn’t he benched? When Milano is on the field, he makes plays.
  3. Both Rivers and Cousins are fierce competitors, with real talent. Both have made bad teams competitive--at times. Look at the state of NFL quarterbacking, neither of these guys are HOF, but both could win big in the right situations. I would love to have either Buffalo right now.
  4. The Peterman decision was foolish, but other than that, although some of the let-goes have been hard to understand emotionally, he has made this a truly competitive team. I would add, his biggest overall leadership mistake has been the hire of Dennison. A real test of his ability to lead and make difficult decisions to make the organization better will be what he does with Dennison. It should be an early fire--no matter how or when the season ends--with a goal of hiring an OC that understands football in 2018+ .... Dennison is the OC version of Rex Ryan, had a good system that worked well at a particular point in time, but not now, not for the players and situation you have. And, unfortunate, neither was/is able to adapt. At any rate, MeDermott's handling of this will be his first big test of visionary leadership.
  5. Two good scenarios, and one best: (1) Cousins--he is young and still has several seasons in him, (2) Get Smith and draft another QB prospect--Smith is getting old and only a few years left, (3) Best case, get Cousins and a good QB prospect in the draft
  6. Someone fresh, innovative, and creative .... someone like that would have had a blast with Tyrod Taylor. But, TT will be gone next year. At any rate, something new and shiny. Get rid of the old guy stuck in his ways. He is Rex 2.0 = someone trying to make players fit his outdated system rather than truly being a coach and changing the system to fit the strength of your players.
  7. Well, this guy thinks he's good. But then again, there is a reason GM's and Coaches don't take fan and sports writer opinion polls before they make personnel moves. Nonetheless, let's hope he's right and the Bills have pulled off a Patriot-like move here.
  8. The Bills want the Chargers to win the AFC West because we would win tiebreakers with the Chiefs and Raiders--if we ended tied with either.
  9. McCoy (the obvious) Schmidt (effective all game long) Milano (he should be starting) Webb (showed courage)
  10. You need to add Joe Webb, he may be the most likely option right now.
  11. That may have been the all-time dumbes Call in Bills History!
  12. Isn't Lamar Jackson coming out as well = late first round pick. And, yes, the entire class has fallen--which just adds further evidence of why tanking is such a bad strategy.
  13. "There's nothing like the first time . . . "
  14. Ragland and Lee, not better than Humbler and Brown???? ... at least Milano is playing well.
  15. This! Is the problem with Dennison. He does not seem to be able to adapt to what he has. Force the system, or change the system (plays) to best utilize what you have? Chan was the master at that.
  16. I think Dennison is a liability to this offense .... like so many old-school coaches, he doesn't seem to be able to adapt to the players he has to maximize their strengths. No, the players have to adjust to his scheme. And in this case, TT is not a drop back QB. Dennison just doesn't seem to be able to figure out how to best use him.
  17. I like Matthews and would like to see him stay, BUT, what is needed more is a real deep threat-- a free agent or through the draft.
