  1. Didn't read the entire thread, but the idea is on-point. Build your online, and the QB, the Running backs, and even the deficient WRs all get better. As a matter of fact, signing free agent skill players is a waste of $$ if you don't have a solid O-line. The offensive line is where FA and draft capital needs to be focused!
  2. Intriguing. I would love to see him in a Bills uniform--but I have no sense of what his draft value is, the longer this thread goes, the higher he is--he started on Day 3, now up to 2nd round. By tomorrow he may be a 1st round pick on here? Let's see what Mel K. and Adam S. say.
  3. Speed, with intelligence to run good routes and good hands.
  4. Resign Alexander & Phillips, one of the o-line for back-up and depth, and Jones -- a top Special Teams guy.
  5. Kind of like reshuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic
  6. I think we go for the TE from Iowa, the best bet for a top-tier pass catcher.
  7. A good theory, but until you fix the o-line, none of that matters. Fix the o-lin, the running game and passing game get better with no addtions. Start at the core and build out, not in the opposite direction.
  8. for the right price, yes! Then again, could probably say that about every free agent.
  9. I'm beginning to lean the same way. It does not appear there is a WR anywhere near, or worth, a top 10 pick. My first hope is a top tier o-lineman, but get the best player available, even if he is a Defensive player. And all this tells me that signing Duke Williams was a good move, he is essentially a mid-round (4-5) pick already used. Good work Mr. Beane, He has Patriots slot receiver written all over him.
  10. First of all, Scott Norwood was never a goat in Buffalo. Second, the logic you use to elevate the New England comeback win over the Bills comeback applies the field goal attempt, one was a wildcard game, and the other a Super Bowl. If Norwood makes that kick, the entire narrative about that team and that era of the Buffalo Bills is changed.
  11. No TE play Little help from WRs, but that did pick up towards the end And the QB shuffle the Bills played this year; again, that picked up towards the end is hopefully solved for many years to come
  12. Yes, they very well could. The Chargers are a legit team, with a top tier QB
  13. Yes, for the right price, or Eifert (with incentives, as someone else said).
  14. I just hope he does not end up in Miami
  15. yeah, like that Patrick Mahomes guy
  16. A top SEC receiver who lights it up in the CFL . . . both good training grounds for the NFL. A huge life-fail, but it appears he has turned his life and career around with professional help. A high reward, low-risk signing. What's not to like? Got to root for him.
  17. Think about it, HE WAS THE OFFENSE! Besides him, every other aspect of the offense could stand a significant upgrade: o-line, WRs, RBs, TE. There is not one other area on the offense that is in the top 20 of the NFL.
  18. And the cause of the Jets loss. Fire Him! He has actually survived two regime changes, Marone and Rex. I guess that says something?
  19. One way or another, get him signed and locked in for the next several years. We haven't seen his ceiling yet.
  20. At first, I thought you meant the Breard. Fitz would probably be a very good coach, but not sure he's ready to be a Head Coach yet?
  21. After looking at a few mock drafts (early, I know), I say trade down to the back half of the first round and get two first round picks where it appears there will be quality O-Tackles available and a few wide receivers. Come away with that combo and it is an excellent draft.
  22. Yes, Bills need to somehow, some way, get a true #1 receiver on the roster.
  23. If I were the Bills management, I'd sign him in a heartbeat. The perfect back for what this team needs going forward.
