  1. The biggest risk here, a holder for field goal attempts. That could be a disaster if they don’t have a ready and reliable replacement.
  2. How bad is o-line play in the NFL when two rejects from our terrible line get claimed by other teams? “Four players the Bills cut on Saturday were claimed elsewhere around the league: Ike Boettger (Chiefs), Kaelin Clay (Giants), Adam Redmond (Cowboys) and Tanner Vallejo (Browns).” Or maybe, we’re not doing something right in Buffalo? Like our o-line coach?
  3. yeah, I know .... and while we appear to have a good one now in Dawkins. it still irks me we let a perennial all-pro go at one of the most important positions on the field because we didn't want to pay him ....I'll get over it someday, a few years after he is enshrined in Canton, maybe? ?
  4. Boy, they really want to be done with Colton Schmidt. until we let him walk away

  6. Thanks Bill! Well said! You're one of the favorites around here, we always enjoy your posts.
  7. And of these players, how many went on to have stellar careers that justified the two picks? I would say one: Eric Dickerson. Maybe Keyshawn J and Joey Galloway, maybe Hershal Walker??? That's it!
  8. V Davis - he is over-the-hill, happens to all of us Vontae ... "Gotta know when to fold'em, know when to walk away, know when to run." C Coleman - did he catch a pass in any game? C Schmidt - he has not looked good in pre-season, the new guy is an equal mediocre, but cheaper, version of the same thing
  9. Of course, there is no real way to measure whether this is a good or bad idea. The only way it would really catch on is if all the teams that did it won their first 2-3 games out of the box, then the next year every team in the league would do it--which would mean that half the teams that did it were not any better off.
  10. Should have made a major play for Bridgewater back in March. No way they get him now. Bring in the Ship kid so he can hand the ball off to the number 6 running back.
  11. It was depressing today, if I care this much about pre-season games, what will the real ones be like????
