I was thinking I missed something when I saw the thread title, let's at least wait until Rookie Mini-Camp is over to start talking game analysis.

This is where I'm at. I do not see the reason to not pick up his option year. He has been productive, it is certainly affordable, and he seems to be improving each year. Why would they not?

I was really surprised Stills did not get drafted, but glad we signed him. He is indeed a fascinating story. His journey is exhibit A with all that is wrong with the over-zealous parents and sports, the silliness that is big-time college football recruiting, and, hopefully, of a kid who finally became his own person and figured out how to live his own life. Would love to see him make the team.

He was a high energy guy. He had two great pre-season games against Akron and Coastal Carolina and parlayed that into a first-round draft pick. Ugh! He may be the worse Bills #1 of all time? Fortunately for him, he wasn't all about football and is now making a difference influencing young kids in the Baltimore school system. Football player - nope! Very good human being - Yes! A role model in many ways.

If they want TJ Hock, don't gamble and trade back. He might not even be there at 9. If he is, take him. Don't risk it. .... But if he is not the guy, then yes, roll the dice and see what happens if it is possible to get a second 1st round pick.
