  1. Really hoping the Pats win it all, because if they do, I’m confident Brady will retire. GO PATRIOTS!!! ?
  2. You don't get it, Bummer . . . Make it easy on yourself and go be a Chief fan for the next few years. I'm sure you'll love Andy Reid. But, my answer is pretty much just as thoughtless, "any game Rex Ryan coached." And it really got ridiculous when he brought his brother in the second season to fix the top 3 defense Rex had inherited. What is worse than 1 Ryan coaching your defense, 2 Ryan's coaching it. Just awful!!!
  3. yuuup Not sure Jackson is the right fit for our WR needs, but if the new guy from Canda is the real deal, the Jackson and he could really spice up the WR core. As there does not seem to be any real game changers in the draft or free agency, I think I'd like it.
  4. Rams . . . they outscore Saints in a shootout, both in the 35-45 range Chiefs . . . Offense proves to be too much for Pats to contain, they score in the 30s and win by 10
  5. Round 1 Pick 9: Oliver, Ed, DT, Houston Round 2 Pick 10: Risner, Dalton, C/OT, Kansas State Round 3 Pick 10: Snell Jr, Benny, RB, Kentucky Round 4 Pick 10: Sills V, David, WR, West Virginia If we didn't get an OT in the first round, I would be very happy with Risner in the 2nd--I don't think he will last that long. Oliver is talented, but there is just something about him that makes me nervous. Snell & Sills would be quality skill players, and would be good depth, but not sure either is the answer at their respective positions.
  6. Excellent thread, I read every post. My 2 cents: I think the Bills are committed to building a "young" line that can grow around Allen and feel they have starter quality people in Ike Boettinger and Conor McDermott. They trusted them enough to carry 10 o-lineman during the season. I'm assuming because they did not want to lose either from practice-squad grabs by other teams. Think about it, if Dawkins and Teller continue to develop, that is a young nucleus to keep around for many years. But I know those are big assumptions for all four---each has had bright spots, but none are a sure thing at this point. Are the issues here is coaching? Were they held back or slowed by Cas.? It may be a question of how much they trust in the new guy's ability? Having said that, two other thoughts: 1) Definitely, seek to add a starter on Day 1 of the draft. It appears there are 3-4 Tackles that could do that. But it also appears none are worthy of #9 pick (Williams, maybe?). If a trade down allows us to get an extra pick and a starting o-lineman, do it. If you believe in one of them enough to pick at 9, do it. I think this fits with the theme above (youth, that will be around for many years). In this scenario, the one glaring need is a true center. Is that Boettinger? Or, keep Bodine and look next year? Or, sign a quality FA? Ideally, quality FA, Day 1 pick, and keep and build with the young guys (Draftie, DD, WT, IK, CMcD) 2) It is offend said Mills is a top run blocker, but not good in pass protection. Has he ever played guard? Yes, guards have to pass protect, but I don't believe they have to be as athletic as a Tackle. Doesn't moving him to guard play to his strength as a run blocker? The objection here is, if he could do that, he would be there already. And, it works against the youth theme above. At his age, would he fit the plan to build a line that can grow around Allen?
  7. I guess this was an attempt at humor? Concerning Glenn, Yes! He is an above average LT. The only issue with him is staying on the field. If healthy and at a good cost, certainly.
  8. A good hire, let's move on, I find threads about newly hired Assistant Coaches rather pedantic. What we really need is another thread about Josh Allen's accuracy. Who will start it?
  9. Beach Chair did a good job in Buffalo, I would be very pleased to see him back in that role.
  10. Agree, but more muscle means more weight, it doses not necessarily mean he has to get slower. That’s why they pay training staff a lot $$$, to be sure that doesn’t happen.
  11. At 20, he's not done growing yet. He'll get bigger and stronger.
  12. I like any scenario that has us taking 3 o-linemen. By the way, MCGOVERN would be a really nice pickup. And he can play G or center.
  13. You mean you "don't know why we drafted him."...... It was obvious why we traded him. A fourth-round pick this year, whatever we get will be an improvement.
  14. Agee! Build an o-line through both FA and draft. That has to be the priority, especially before skill players.
  15. Didn't read the entire thread, but the idea is on-point. Build your online, and the QB, the Running backs, and even the deficient WRs all get better. As a matter of fact, signing free agent skill players is a waste of $$ if you don't have a solid O-line. The offensive line is where FA and draft capital needs to be focused!
  16. Intriguing. I would love to see him in a Bills uniform--but I have no sense of what his draft value is, the longer this thread goes, the higher he is--he started on Day 3, now up to 2nd round. By tomorrow he may be a 1st round pick on here? Let's see what Mel K. and Adam S. say.
  17. Resign Alexander & Phillips, one of the o-line for back-up and depth, and Jones -- a top Special Teams guy.
