  1. HIs stats are so poor in the design run game because our o-line is so bad. Allen's natural athleticism takes over in the scrambles, it doesn't go away in the design runs, what happens there is his dependency on good blocking, the Bills don't have that.
  2. Yeah, the only real memorable moment of his time in Buffalo. Seemed like a good teammate, but they have to get better at that position.
  3. Unfortunately for the Ravens, there was no Hue Jackson in Denver .... granted, Elway is not far behind, well, he is exactly one round behind.
  4. I'd like to say Penn, but as his age, I don't think the amount needed to sign him would be worth it. Jackson and Dupree would be great pick-ups.
  5. If my memory is correct, I think he did quite well at the Sr. Bowl and was mentioned as a possible Bills target then. . . . 3rd round seems like a good value for him, potential Day 1 starter.
  6. I think they have him targeted at guard, but either way takes some pressure off the need to draft an interior lineman in rounds one or two.
  7. No, and No. Both good players in their prime, and if healthy, could probably still contribute, but not the direction the BIlls need to go.
  8. Not sure for what (as mentioned, WR, O-line, TE, etc.), but I believe McCoy would be bait to the right team--a team looking for the right part to get them to the top.
  9. Williams would be my top choice, size, speed, production
  10. Interesting that he only allowed one sack all season--no doubt Allen's scrambling ability helped all the line in that stat, but still impressive. I really like the idea of Finney, seems to have a big upside, many years left, and could be reasonably affordable.
  11. Draft positioning is so much a "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" thing. I think we get a general idea of the top guys, it gets refined and pretty accurate for the top 10 or so just before the draft, and then what teams need or want becomes a bigger factor as the process unfolds. All that to say, its fun to speculate, and it gets more fun as the draft inches closer--but we're still 2 months away. Ugh!
  12. The Bills could stand to upgrade at every o-line position. Assuming the medical issues are cleared, YES, sign him. He still has several years of NFL time left, 2nd team All-Pro, even if you have to over-spend, if you are serious about protecting your franchise QB, you sign him! And continue to look for upgrades in FA and the draft. I would be all for signing him, drafting another tackle in round1 or 2, and moving Dawkins inside . . . do whatever you can, anyway, you can, to upgrade the line.
  13. He is a mystery. Started well enough, got better his 2nd year--to the point of looking like a longterm staple of our line, and has seemed to regress the past two years. I am of the camp that says keep him unless there is an obvious upgrade in FA, or sign the upgrade, and let him battle it out with Teller and a draft pick for a G position. Also, could he slide over the Center?
  14. We could just move the Bills over, I bet we'd have a chance to win this league .... if we can get a competent offensive line.
  15. Well, that's perfectly understandable, everything at McDonald's needs extra BBQ sauce.
  16. Malone just dropped football? I'm with you Yolo, three 1st round picks highlighted in this thread. Their not sleepers, everyone knows them. As for a true sleeper, I'm still thinking?????
  17. Arron Maybin had a really high motor, how'd that work out?
  18. Arron Maybin . . . anyone else in the next 5 rounds would have been a better pick.
  19. Great work Corta, thanks. As for the above, I sure hope not, Thursday nights are brutal for the visiting team.
  20. I'd be thrilled if this happened. I feel strongly the Bills need to get two o-line starters out of the draft.
