  1. And by the way, Roman and he are on the opposite ends of the IQ scale--that won't help. Would love to be a fly on the wall in those meetings.
  2. That's probably an insult to RG3, he actually was a decent thrower and, of course, could run. His problem ended up being a body that could not take an NFL pounding week after week. Jackson can run, and that's about it. The Chargers figured out how to stop him, so that blueprint is now public. It seems pretty simple, force him to throw because that is what he is terrible at. His only success in passing was on plays that broke down and he and his receivers were running all over the field in scramble drills. I don't see that as a sustainable plan for success. It will get you some exciting results sometimes, but sustainable and formula for winning in the NFL? No.
  3. Growing up where I did, in the boonies of northern PA, the only TV we got--when my father had the antenna turn to the right position--was the Buffalo stations. That's all I knew. Yes, they were bad then, but once you become a Bills fan, it's a life-long commitment. ?
  4. Having been a Bills fan since I can remember as a child, somewhere in the late 1960s--pre OJ days, I have to agree with you Shaw. The optimism that surrounds this team now feels much like the early 90s and the run up to the SB years. We had a great coach, a great QB, a lot of talent, etc. Obviously, we're not there yet, but it sure feels like we will be soon. Great read, thanks for the work.
  5. Good correction and a Bills win that day will be historic.
  6. Ty Nsekhe is an impressive young man. I hope he thrives in Buffalo, this city will love him.
  7. He's an intriguing pick. If he turns out to be as good as Milano, the Bills ware set for many years at the position.
  8. I think we really need Dunkirk Don to weigh in on this one.
  9. This is interesting. And, yeah, probably not a good idea to be posting it on social media.
  10. Why not? Bring him in and let him compete.
  11. Mel is giving the Bills a lot of love lately, not sure I like that. Cursed! ?
  12. I hope so, I don't feel he's a huge upgrade, but he certainly gives depth and maybe better play opposite Jerry Hughes.
  13. Certainly not Fitz, every QB he plays behind gets hurt.
  14. Did she ever get that Bills jersey? Come on TBD, pony up. You know she'll wear it on the air.
  15. Dare I say it, I think the Pats run is over. And it will include a loss to both the Bills and Jets. The last game comes down to who wins the division.
  16. Not even close, Jone!!!! Clowney is good, but he is not as big of a difference-maker as Julio Jones.
  17. I'm guessing they wait to set it because it depends on who they draft. I believe the rule is a player cannot participate if he is still in school and the semester is not "officially" over. We're in graduation season the next few weekends, so I think it is to their advantage to wait as long as they can to get maximum participation. . . . . Then, of course, I could be making all this up? But I'm pretty certain about being finished with school and the participation part. ?????
  18. I was thinking I missed something when I saw the thread title, let's at least wait until Rookie Mini-Camp is over to start talking game analysis.
  19. This is where I'm at. I do not see the reason to not pick up his option year. He has been productive, it is certainly affordable, and he seems to be improving each year. Why would they not?
  20. I have found this to be quite helpful: https://www.grammarly.com
  21. I was really surprised Stills did not get drafted, but glad we signed him. He is indeed a fascinating story. His journey is exhibit A with all that is wrong with the over-zealous parents and sports, the silliness that is big-time college football recruiting, and, hopefully, of a kid who finally became his own person and figured out how to live his own life. Would love to see him make the team.
