A telling stat: negative plays (or game events) generally produce negative results, immediately (losing games) and over the long haul (losing records). Thus, the Bills are the anomaly here. Which in a reverse and wired way, should give us hope. Both of these issues are immediately fixable. Change these and change the results, of games and of a season.

The more I've thought about this, the more I think they should go after him. And by that I mean, make a trade -- for one of those lower round picks. The Pats win by getting something rather than an outright release, the Bills win by getting a player with a high up-side for a relatively low risk and price. The risk reward is positive. It is only pertinent to this discussion because we won them all. If we had a losing preseason record, not relevant. I find I always want to win preseason games. It does say something--granted, not much, but generally something good.
