  1. Oh yes! That scene in our long national nightmare is all coming back to me now. Poor Jeff Tuel [for those that don't know, he was Peterman before there was a Peterman--but the P-man took it to an entirely different level], we were beating the Chiefs and about to add to the lead (they were one of the top teams that year, we were still very alive for a playoff spot), Tuel has to start, is managing the game, he's is doing well, we lead at the half, late in the 3rd an we're driving to inside the 5 yard line, we're about to score and add to the lead, and then he throws a horrendous interception that is returned 99 yards for a TD. Game over, season over--all in 10 seconds.
  2. Honestly, it was about as close as it could be. I slowed it down to frame by frame, and he does move before the ball is snapped, but does not go across the imaginary (and I think that is the key word here) line. I can see why it was called---because of the movement, the video evidence does show he moved before the ball is snapped. And I can see the argument he was not off sides. It is a 50/50 call, this time not in our favor. If it was an opponent that did this, I would easily agree with the call. As a Bills fan, I see it through different lenses. Regardless, he is quick, having a great year, the Bills need to resign him.
  3. This! On that play if he uses his arms and actually tries to tackle him, he would at least slow him down until help came. Levi is not big enough to just throw himself into someone. It is maddening to watch.
  4. People want to see good stories, which the Bills are.
  5. The official can’t judge intent, if a player takes a haymaker like Watt did, and it missed the ball (as it did) and hits the player, it should be a personal foul at least, and even ejection because of the nature of the infraction. Again, they can’t judge intent, but they can judge the result, which was a pretty violent punch to the chest.
  6. In the words and tears of T.O., “That’s my quarterback.” ??
  7. Are officials suppose to judge intent?
  8. Mods: Block him! Clearly Easterner works at PFF.
  9. Phillips deserves a big raise. I do hope we resign him. If he ends up somewhere else we will all be disappointed.
  10. To quote the awesome Shaq Lawson: “Duck, Duck, GOOSE!” I like Taylor, he got game action tonight because of Liguet’s injury. I hope they give him more opportunity
  11. the best sports quote of all time!
  12. Another thought, the league leading sackers only had one tonight (and he should have thrown that away). And, over 130 yards on the ground. The OLINE deserves a mention in the GAME BALL thread!
  13. He knew it was a big night, Divine intervention is always welcomed.
  14. Perfect! Shopping done!
  15. 6-1, but that is still outstanding in the NFL.
  16. Wow, what alternative world did I just enter, 2 games to go and we are locked into the playoffs. What will I worry about all week now? Oh, yeah, buying my wife a Christmas present ?
  17. no way, that will never happen ?
  18. He’s now over a 1000 for the season. It’s been a long time for any Bills receiver to hit that.
  19. Allen White Phillips Edmonds Lawson Brown
  20. Did Daboll just give up on that series? What the heck?????
  21. Wow! I haven’t paid much attention to it, but that video is convincing. What was it Vince said, “If you’re not cheating, you’re not trying.” The Patriots’ motto.
  22. Who should we be rooting for today, besides the Bengals?
  23. A few weeks ago I was in Costa Rica, doing a morning jog around the University of Costa Rica and I had on a Bills t-shirt. Passed an older Costa Rica'n and as I did he said "Go Bills!" It was a special moment for two Bills fans as we smiled and greeted each other. The Bills Mafia is worldwide
  24. I understand your point Kirby, but disagree. I'll take all the bandwagon fans that want to join, because that means we're winning, and winning big. Think about the Warriors the past four or five years. Before Curry, I doubt most casual basketball fans even knew where they played. And then, all of a sudden I think every 15 year-old in the world is wearing a Warriors jersey. Not because 15 year olds all of a sudden became NBA savants, but because the Warriors started winning, and winning a lot. Now they have all kinds of band-wagoners (who have quickly jumped ship this year). Think of Duke, I'm old enough to remember when they were just an insignificant D1 school down in NC somewhere, only known for their high SAT entrance requirements. Now they are basketball royalty and kids all over the country wear Duke gear. Why? Because they win, and keep winning. You get the point. I say jump onboard if that means we are winning. GO BILLS! And here's to more Bills fans everywhere!
