  1. Overall, it was a great night for the offense. Two reasons: (1) They wanted to run the ball, and did--over 100 yards in the first half. (2) We showed we may have the nest backup QB situation in the league. Josh Allen had a decent night. Not sure any of you saw this, but he did make one bad decision and throw--yeah, really, go back and watch the tape. Beyond that, he did a professional job and when needed most, drove the team on a long drive to end the half. People that helped themselves: Duke Williams, Isiah McKenzie, TJ Yeldon, Ryan Bates (played left tackle and held his own--proving to be a solid versitle player) People that hurt themselves: Ray-Ray McCoud, Zay Jones (he did make a few nice plays but hard to figure what's going on with him) And, in general, the offensive line, even with all the shuffling, continues to look light-years ahead of last season
  2. Last week => Josh Allen is a serious MVP candidate This week => When is the draft
  3. Na, it won’t. He had earned it, catches what he should and is an impressive blocker

  5. Drive down and score and it will be a good half. Clearly the goal tonight was to run the ball, and that had been pretty decent.
  6. What has been the average starting position? 11 yard line?
  7. Is this also the 2nd half thread? If so, our D is sucking.
  8. Is Greg Williams the next Rex Ryan, which is: Irrelevant ??? An intelligent Jets fan, thanks for checking in and adding to the quality of our our board.
  9. Again, it reinforces just how bad the QB situation was at this time last year. Fortunately, the Bills realized their mistakes (McCarron, Peterman, the old QB Coach) and corrected it soon. If Josh Allen had gone through last season without any veteran help like Anderson and Barkley, he could have been handicapped for his entire career. The tools are there, they are raw, and surrounding him with smart, "been there, done that before" people is huge for his development.
  10. I'm going with Duke Williams (I know he is not technically a rookie, but close enough). His signing has intrigued me from the start. This week will give us a big clue as to what the coaches think of him.
  11. I am skeptical of Bell's being able to step right in and pick up where he left off--plus, he had one of the consistently best lines in the NFL in Pittsburgh (i.e., see James Conner's production last year). Having said that, I'm glad we get him in game one, as he will improve as the season moves along .... provided the Jets o-line improves. Honestly, he doesn't scare me considering the entire situation in NY.
  12. Well, as Elvis C. said, "And the radio is in the hands of such a lot of fools tryin' to anaesthetise the way that you feel . . ."
  13. A quote from the Bills press release: "Magnuson started at both tackle spots, but has also played guard and center." . . . I think I see a common theme here.
  14. Oh No! Should we bring back Ducasse, what were these coaches thinking ????
  15. I've heard rumors in NE that Brady is thinking of sitting out week 4.
  16. I like Zay Jones, but based on what we've seen in two games, I would have to agree.
  17. Yes, I think you are correct, thanks for the clarification.
  18. This! Johnson, and the winner of Love vs. Yarborough.
  19. Let me help you here: "There's few players in the league with the talent "physical tools" he has"; there is a vast difference between talent and tools. .... what's the old saying, "he looks good coming off the bus"? I think that applies here. Nonetheless, I'm hoping he makes it so those raw tools can be shaped into some real success. He's the kind of kid you root for.
  20. At this point, it is hard to see him even being Practice Squad worthy. I suspect the Bills will comb the waiver wires, and other team Practice Squads, looking for a good 3rd option. The problem, however, with the another "teams PS's" is that they would have to put that person on the 53 man roster. With the many bubble battles going on, and the likely potential of keeping an extra WR, TE, O-lineman, DT, or even D-back, I don't see them them wanting a 3rd QB on the 53. Thus, a waiver guy to the PS is most likely. Tyree will have to do well these next two games and hope no other attractive options becomes available to the Bills. It will come down to, who can we safely stash on the PS?
  21. Pretty sure he was just throwing it where no one would catch it, if Singletary somehow comes up with, yahoo!. But really just a throw away
