  1. I hope, but it sure seems like we've heard that before.
  2. He has grow, and that should be expected in year 2, and I think he is getting better game by game (starting in the 2nd half of last season). But I think the one huge factor in the statistical success you highlighted in the first two games this year is the improved o-line play = better protection and better results in the run game. When one reflects on it, it's a miracle this team won 6 games last year with the offense of players it had. Every aspect of the offense has improved, from QB to the line, WRs, TEs, and backs.
  3. Which RT was it who was running a pulling tackle play on that pass play? . . . That was so bad it was funny, unless your the franchise QB who gets hammered because of it.
  4. Let the Patriots have him, not needed in Buffalo!
  5. Is Blake Bortles available, he'd fit well in the Jets system ?
  6. Don't feel too bad for them, they're grown men, making more money than 99.9% of all of us, and they are doing that playing a game. I'd take it.
  7. I'd give them Zay and mid-round draft pick.
  8. Right now: I love our QB, but based on record, stats, and production, the clear winner right now is Jackson. And I was never a fan, and I am glad we didn't stay put and wait for him, but right now, he is way above the rest. Then again, Roman made Tyrod look good too--until Rex dumped him because he was getting credit over Rex (more evidence of what a disaster he was as a HC).
  9. Like many, this was the first time I watched him intently. And came away with the feeling that he is very average. He does have a stronger arm than I thought, okay accuracy, and was running around trying to avoid a less than average Jet D. One game is a small sample size, but nothng stood out to me, other than he is remarkably unimpressive.
  10. Not sure you can put Baker Mayfield as a Tier 2?
  11. I generally have sympathy and try to understand people, who like Brown, have had to overcome a lot of things stacked against them to be successful--or to just live. But I have little to none for this situation. Having a relatively comfortable upbringing, I will never pretend to understand how the things Brown has gone through will affect him. But, many others have gone before you Antonio, with less and with more difficult issues, and they have learned how to respect people and treat people properly. That is just common decency. I cannot see how the NFL allows this to continue. Playing for any NFL team is a privilege, not a right. Like all jobs he could have, there are expectations, including moral ones. And when those are violated, the privilege can be removed. I think it is time to remove it for Antonio. Maybe then he can get the help he needs.
  12. But, things generally even out, like the Allen fumble that wasn't (on the sack), and the rather weak personal foul call on the field goal.
  13. This is the answer. Murphy always looked good, just got lost in the numbers crunch. Bring him back in a heartbeat of needed.
  14. Yes, this! Thanks Shaw, another job well done. But it's always done well when we're winning ?
  15. Grade inflation is everywhere, killing this generation. I give him an A-
  16. Well done, Virgil. And, yes, when I saw that stat about the 300 yard passing game, I knew all hope pf that was gone for the day. ?
  17. I like Dawkins, and apparently his teammate do as well--he was voted a Captain--but if there is a reasonable deal to be made, make it.
  18. He'll be asking for a trade this week, if he's smart, that is.
