  1. What happened to Johnson? Did I miss something? Because the league office told them the Ravens needed a bit more help on D to secure their spot in the SB, which will raise the TV ratings for the league.
  2. The most painful part of all this is you had to bring up Rex. You, know, our Defensive genius coach. And he promptly fired Roman as soon as had the chance--must have made his defense look bad. There goes my whole day at 6:30 in the morning.
  3. Wow! I didn't realize it was that low. I doubt they take the training wheels off against our Defense. It will be run, run, run. If Baltimore couldn't run on us, I don't see the Steelers doing it. Load the box and force them to do try and throw it.
  4. Which is why winning this game is important, remove all doubts and play the last two with no pressures, just to get better and maybe even improve your playoff position.
  5. Is it time to give Ryan Bates a look at right tackle, assuming Nsekhe is still out?
  6. Ouch, that brings up bad memories.
  7. Was the Dallas game not huge? Opening day? And I’m not sure I could say the Eagles game was huge? But “huge” is a subjective term.
  8. Thanks CWater, I appreciate your thoughtful post.
  9. I know I'll be in the minority here, but I'm old enough to remember the Beatles and Lennon and all, so I'll say it to all you younger types, Lennon was overrated! His death was tragic, and what it met most to people then was the hoped for Beatles reunion would never happen. But as a musician, he was good, but nothing special. He was odd and his music was hard to listen to once he left the Beatles. Again, no one deserves to die the way he did, but his death and the way it occurred did more to make him an icon than his music did--at least his music post-Beatles. There, I said it, you can flame away at me now . . .
  10. And too much into this one loss.
  11. After watching the Ravens, they are no doubt good, very good at what they do. But is is very gadget driven. If Lamar gets hurt, they are done. No one else could run that offense, it is totally built around his skill set, which is witchie good. But that is all they have.
  12. If it goes for a TD, he is genius. It was a good play and nothing wrong with it, in my opinion.
  13. I do think its time for Yeldon, he is a good blocker, runs tough, and is an excellent receiver. Now, the Gore play at the goal line was not his fault, that was an awful call: do a QB sneak on 1st and a 1/2 yard to go.
  14. I lost count once I ran out of toes.
  15. It was mentioned on the broadcast how the Bills are not well equipped with WRs for the situation at the end--where you need a big strong guy to wrestle some balls away. I was just thinking that before he said it, this is where we need Duke Williams. They really could have used him today.
  16. The difference in the game, two big plays: The non PI call, and for the life of me I do not know why McD did not throw out the red flag. TO are overrated, that took at least three points off the board. But, as Fouts ranted, Foster got mugged, a red flag should not have been needed. There were two official there, I cannot see how they didn't call it. The long TD pass. The only passes the LJ can make are over the middle and to TEs. Why was he running so open? Take away that play and the game is tied. Ugh.
  17. I guess you weren’t in the game threads
  18. Okay, so the predictable, unimaginative, moronic responses of: need a new QB, Daboll must go, our idiotic coaching, need entirely new o-line, etc., etc. BUT! Still 9-4 and only need one more win to secure a playoff stop. If you ask any of us if we’d be 9-4 at week 14, we would take it and run. On to Pittsburgh! GO BILLS! ??
  19. I go back to that no PI call = Game Changer! Why no PI and why no red flag? Did the Bill not get a replay either, are they depending on the CBS broadcast?????
