Daboll and ST have been saving something.
CSBill replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll take a jet sweep or two with McKenzie or Foster, I can't recall the last game we saw that? Or, that exotic play the call the screen pass? That would really surprise them. -
20 points is the key to victory tomorrow
CSBill replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Main issue: No turnovers! Make them earn every point through their offense, they are not good enough to do that. -
How Much Confidence do you have in Miami?
CSBill replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Possible and Probable are two very different things. So, yes, there is a slight possibility--if there is any magic left in that bearded QB, but probable--especially if the Pats are playing for the Division and a bye week, very low. -
Any ideas on josh Allen improbable play?
CSBill replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Now that is funny, I have not seen this before .... but pretty much how we all felt on that play. This is it, it shows everything about what makes him a leader: toughness, not willing to quit, fight, do whatever it takes attitude, his energy, etc. -
And this went off the rails quite quickly ?

good article, thanks Lurker . . . . and I love your byline: "Celebrating the tail of the Bell Curve since 1996!"

That Net Points Thing, Wk 15 Version

Houston's low because they have given up so many points. -
Really astounding how far we've come in 13 months
CSBill replied to TheBrownBear's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Think about this and put it in perspective. Remarkable! One of the most competitive teams in the NFL over the past 13 months--24 games. -
anybody else think we should have kept ivory over gore
CSBill replied to tcampbell104's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It surprises me when I see Gore has almost 600 yards. He could reach 700 for the season, that's productive for any number 2 guy. -
It's all for TV folks, to give them something to talk about and hopefully rile you up enough to react ..... resist this evil force! Don't do it! Just walk away!

The Patriots are diminished, so even with a Bills win the national narrative will be more about their demise and the "is Brady done?" question. We just need to expect and accept that, and honestly, they have earned that attention. The question of their dynasty must be asked and evaluated when they lose Saturday. Regardless, while it won't get as much press nationally, the story in this end of the world will be the changing of the guard at the top. The Pats may still win the division, but I believe a dominate Bills win signals the end to the AFC East as we have known it for the past 20 years. I think that is about to happen Saturday evening.

Oh yes! That scene in our long national nightmare is all coming back to me now. Poor Jeff Tuel [for those that don't know, he was Peterman before there was a Peterman--but the P-man took it to an entirely different level], we were beating the Chiefs and about to add to the lead (they were one of the top teams that year, we were still very alive for a playoff spot), Tuel has to start, is managing the game, he's is doing well, we lead at the half, late in the 3rd an we're driving to inside the 5 yard line, we're about to score and add to the lead, and then he throws a horrendous interception that is returned 99 yards for a TD. Game over, season over--all in 10 seconds.

Jordan Phillips asks you: where's the Offside?
CSBill replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Honestly, it was about as close as it could be. I slowed it down to frame by frame, and he does move before the ball is snapped, but does not go across the imaginary (and I think that is the key word here) line. I can see why it was called---because of the movement, the video evidence does show he moved before the ball is snapped. And I can see the argument he was not off sides. It is a 50/50 call, this time not in our favor. If it was an opponent that did this, I would easily agree with the call. As a Bills fan, I see it through different lenses. Regardless, he is quick, having a great year, the Bills need to resign him. -
How bad is Levi Wallace making tackles?
CSBill replied to Stallions's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This! On that play if he uses his arms and actually tries to tackle him, he would at least slow him down until help came. Levi is not big enough to just throw himself into someone. It is maddening to watch. -
Possible game altering bad call on Milano.
CSBill replied to gjv001's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The official can’t judge intent, if a player takes a haymaker like Watt did, and it missed the ball (as it did) and hits the player, it should be a personal foul at least, and even ejection because of the nature of the infraction. Again, they can’t judge intent, but they can judge the result, which was a pretty violent punch to the chest.
