If Houston loses this game, Bill O'Brian should be fired: Not going for it on 4th and a foot--the game is over if they score a TD there. But making up for it with an asinine fake FG call in your own territory after they just scored a TD. WOOOOOWWWWW!

My Off-Season Primer: Position Group: RB
CSBill replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would be very happy with another mid-round pick at this position, but someone who is a bruiser, 235+ with a little bit of speed. Poor man's Derek Henry type ... or just sign him ? -
My Off-Season Primer: Position Group: OL

Not sure where RT will go, but I think one big off-season question to settle, who is the better swing tackle option: Nsekhe, Waddle, or Bates? One of them will be let go, one will be the ST, and the other could be trade bait? I wonder if Waddle, who is a few years younger, than Nsekhe, ends up being the guy. But of course, if Bates continues to develop, he is such a valuable asset being able to play multiple positions competently. -
I would say, Duke has a better future than Jones. Jones is what he is, an acceptable #5 receiver who can do the easy stuff and is a decent blocker, but don't expect anything big. Duke is bigger, stronger, maybe slower, but has better hands and physicality. His blocking is equal, but he will make tough catches Jones can't. He brings more to a team going forward. If I'm a GM, I take Duke over Zay.

All-in-all, it was just a collective terrible 2nd half of football. .... as 29 Years points out, there seemed to be several plays that would have made a difference. To me, the biggest one was the missed block in OT (well, the last 3 minutes of regulation are mind numbing in so many ways). The play was there, it would have put us in very make-able field goal range. Ugh .... what is it that other team says, "just do your job," I just can't see how three guys let him run between them untouched.

He is a great story in hard work and perseverance; a career back-up and special teams player for years. Then gets a chance to start and takes full advantage. His leadership and work ethic will be missed. But good for you Lorenzo, go enjoy every second of your beautiful family. You have represented yourself, this team, this city, and this fan base, so incredibly well. Thank you! for the player you have been, but more importantly, the man you are.

Loved Belichick being Belichicked!

It was classic. But expect to see that rule changed next year. -
Goodness! I was just starting to move on after a long night of no sleep. Now I'm fighting depression reading this thread--someone set up a watch at Virgil's house, I'm worried for the guy. To all, from someone who's been a Bill's fan since Jack Kemp was the QB, listen, it's okay. There is a lot to like on this team going forward. Remember what we were picked in the preseason, 6, maybe 7 wins? Step back, keep it in perspective, our identity in life is not based on being a Bills fan. Yes, being a Bills fan is a true "first world" problem for us, but come on man, it's a game, we're fans, but there are too many real problems in life to let this be so depressing. Take a day or two to sulk, but look at the foundation that has been laid to go forward with. This was not a Super Bowl contending team. It is a highly entertaining team, do the work in the off-season, and come back ready to take the AFC East next September. GO BILLS!!!

Well, it was the full Josh Allen experience, he almost single-handedly lost the game for us on that play (and a few more), and he almost single-handedly willed his team to victory. Think about this, after all that, if it weren't for the terrible call on Ford, he made three great plays in OT to put his team in positon to win the game (we were in FG range without that call).

Late Ford personal foul call a joke

Terrible call.
