  1. A good read, thanks. I loved these comments in his conclusion: . . . But replacing Diggs is nearly impossible. Out of all the receivers drafted in 2015, Diggs has more receptions than all of them with No. 4 overall pick that year Amari Cooper trailing close behind. Last year zero rookie receivers hit 60 receptions. Few players compete like him. Few players run routes like him. Few players can carry an offense like he did for a long stretch of ’19. Now Diggs will have to deal with the diva label and the notion that he’s bad for his new team’s culture. Labels are lazy. Inside the locker room there was irritation with Diggs’s Week 4 blowup but the utmost respect for his dedication and performance. . . .
  2. Yeah, if new or better people beat out Ford, so be it. I see that as a totally good thing, this is a meritocracy, the best man wins--no matter where they were drafted. Ford will need to improve to stay in the line-up, and that is good.
  3. To quote a former Bills Coach, "Obviously!"
  4. I agree with one and two, and don't disagree with three--but not sure your solution is the way to go. I would not be disappointed to get him, but I think the FA pickups we already have upgraded that position.
  5. I defer to Mark Twain on this issue: ""There are lies, damned lies and statistics." . . . Jackson stats as a passer defy his reality as a passer.
  6. Agree with almost all he writes, except this: "Another is the Ravens have a major advantage over Buffalo at the quarterback position with Lamar Jackson over Josh Allen." I question that. At this point, I would say they're about even. Jackson is a better runner, and Allen is a better passer.--but there is not much separation either way. I would say its about even right now.
  7. no we didn’t, we split with them
  8. No surprise. And as many have said, lessens the probability of trading up or picking a WR in round 2.
  9. The FA wide receivers still out there will generally be average at best. The questions are now: (1) What particular traits to do they have that will enhance the Bills pass game? Or, (2) do they see the potential for development in a year or two to be a top tier guy? ..... I still see Robert Foster positively answering those questions. Rob was probably not as good as we want to remember in year one, and probably not as bad in year two as it seemed. I seem to recall, he was not a regular starter at Alabama? He is still developing. And, he has that one quality that you can't teach, elite speed. I think he can and will develop, and I think the Bills brass are still counting on that; thus, unless they can get one of these other guys on a cheap prove-it deal, don't expect any more WR signings.
  10. Yuuup! And I think that has been a very wise and successful approach. I think they still add a "mid range" RB and O-lineman, and a few fillers. The rest of the money will be draftees and reworked contracts
  11. I’m with you, if Wade emerges, wow! .....I feel the Bills are being coy with him. I think it is also why they have not been real aggressive in signing a free agent RB. I hope.
  12. Full agreement here. Thanks.
  13. We have Yeldon, so draft a compliment. But if we do sign someone, I would prefer Hyde.
  14. Meh . . . We can still call up that British Bloke from the Practice Squad if needed; we can do that, right? ?
  15. it was fun while it lasted, about 3 minutes? “That’s what she said.”
  16. So, what is on Game Pass? Is "free" worth it? Is this just ploy to get us to sign up with real $$$ once we all get out of quarantine?
  17. What's most stunning in this presentation is the production drop of Foster. What happened?????
  18. As far as I know, isn't Wallace still the #2 corner? I would like Johnson, but as is, he would be competing with Norman for reps.
