This is funny ..... But, really, it is frustrating that the schedule is still not posted for the new season. Just a few days ago my wife asked me about some travel plans, I told here let me check the Bills schedule, and I had us booking a trip to Dallas for Thanksgiving. Fortunately she knows how to do this thing called Google ... UPDATE THE SCHEDULE!

Does Gilliam make both DiMarco and Lee Smith expendable? I hope. Leadership or not, at the end of the day coaches do what makes the team better. At some point ability has to trump locker room leadership (if not, Gore would still be here). If he can block, catch the ball when its thrown at him, and contribute on Special Teams, he might be the steal of un-drafted free agents across the NFL.

I'm even more interested. The potential of this team. The emotional roller coaster of the last six months. Come on . . .

I would not be surprised, but, in his defense, didn't he really improve as a special teams player last year? He was a key contributor. So, does he stick because he is a key contributor on Special Teams and adds solid depth to the receiving room. Because of his SP play, I would giv him much better odds of making it over Duke and McKenzie.

What does the Payroll Protection Plan have to do with this, does it cover NFL players cut from their teams? I guess it is a lay-off, so to speak.

I suspect Jones is toast, whatever his injury is.

Well, this is a trust that the coaches know what they're doing thing. It has all the signs of a disaster, but, it's kind of like taking a big swing, if you make a connection, oh the fun.

He's Practice Squad material, if that. What did we think, he was not good enough to stick with the Jets and they are a dumpster fire on OL.

I think this is a legitimate concern. Certainly strong running teams will test it to see.

I always liked then both, personally and for their performance on the field. Each has their good football qualities, and each has their football limitations. And the one thing that both had in common, they did not have the talent around them to overcome their playing deficiencies. it was in those times of need or when they needed to rise above it and make up for that lack of surrounding talent, that their deficiencies as NFL QBs was exposed. Neither was going to carry the team. By way of contrast, and to my point above, what Josh Allen has that they didn't, a good enough team around him to cover for his limitations as a player. The team is better, so the QB is better. And I also believe that Josh Allen has a much higher ceiling than either Fitz or Tyrod. He's not there yet, but he is ascending.

Sometime we need to be reminded, they are just as human as we are. Prayer for for Fitz and his family.

Correction, Peterman was one of the biggest and most epic Bills coaching fails. For all the good McDermott has done, this is his one big head-scratcher. Well, at least he admitted it and moved on, all be it in the middle of the first game of the season. Now that I think of it gain, just, Wow!

We ran that play in High School: it was a fake pitch and quick short pass to our Center who pulled left, and then he threw it back to the QB streaking (yeah, buck-naked) down the right side of the field, while everyone else ran to the left and yelling “Raid 10, Raid 10” .... yeah, the Bills should put that in the play book.

Well, if Lee improves the position, sign him. Not sure any of us are in a place we can judge that. That is why we pay those coaches a lot of money. Coaches want the best players playing. They'll figure it out. .... If Lee is better, we'll see him wearing a Bills jersey soon. he signed with NO

Duke is a good PS candidate, and maybe even trade bate if someone (like the Jets) has some needs in that area.
