  1. Ah, the Joe Webb package . . . the legend of Dunkirk Don lives on
  2. This is too easy. .... So, I'll just say, drive safely and smartly big Ed.
  3. I remember three missed tackles of Deshaun Watson on that game winning play in the play-off game.
  4. I'm with you MGK. It is doable, but it has to be different. I spent the morning reducing the size of the classroom (to half) in the school where I teach. It will be different, but doable.
  5. I think that is the point, it was a coordinated effort. Yes, use the same words and hashtag.
  6. https://ftw.usatoday.com/2020/07/nfl-players-we-want-to-play-twitter-campaign-coronavirus There is a coordinated effort by the players today, apparently. I find it hard to disagree with them. The NFL has had more time than any other league to prepare for this, and it appears they have not. I guess they left it up to the individual teams. And that was/is a bad idea. It will be interesting to see where this goes. But my hunch is that the camps that were supposed to open this week will not.
  7. He has been a great ambassador for the Bills organization and city of Buffalo. And he has been a slightly above average LB--although his versatility is an asset. I say, time to move on.
  8. I'm getting bored with this story. Have they picked a name yet?
  9. That's what they invented the internet for .... can you imagine philly-fans' Facebooks, Instagrams, Twitter, etc. (keep the women and children away)
  10. Well, the NCAA has scientifically proven that COVID-19 only spreads in non-conference games. Applied to the NFL, that may mean the Bills will only play AFC teams. But because the NFL is smarter than the NCAA, in an effort to really outsmart the virus, the NFL will set up a schedule where teams bubble up with the other teams in their division and only play each other like 3 or 4 times. .... Sounds like a good plan to me.
  11. Yeah, "but to be that close and keep losing in the end blows" ... know any fans that can relate to that ????
  12. Matt Ryan doesn't get the credit he deserves. For example, what has Dak Prescott done better than him?
  13. Yes. And let all players on the active roster suit up for games.
  14. Serious question, what are his rating these days? I use to listen to him when he was on ESPN radio. And that TV show he had was fun with the gal that is a huge Spurs fan—she carried it. But it has been a long time. There may be a good number of people that like him still, but he got tiresome for me and I would not even know where to find him now. As for the question, yeah, I think McDermott is in the top 10.
  15. I think he needs to put on some bulk so he can be stronger in the more physical parts of the game. To me, that is the part of his play that needs to improve to make him an elite LB. The athleticism and game-smarts are there, just needs more power.
  16. He may have potential, but he has done nothing to justify making a big splash to get him. Maybe, trade for Kroft (would they like Lee Smith? ?)? Or, Kroft and a late draft pick where we have an extra one? Or a 5th rounder? Also, in making this trade, the Bills have to consider how much time he would take away from Knox's development. If you're not sold on Knox, then consider it. If you are all in on him, then no need to trade for anyone unless his name is Kelce or Kittle or Ertz.
  17. Totally agree. I was going to add the play-calling aspect to my first post, but for length, I did not. Yes, a huge part of an effective short game is good play design and play-calling. Daboll can certainly help his QB by better work in this area.
