  1. This! Yes, they did, and it cost us.
  2. That is funny. Good for him. If the Pack lose this weekend, maybe we can pick him up for the AFC championship game—how many sacks did he surrender this past weekend???
  3. Singletary is also pretty good at the blitz pickups, I suspect we will see a lot of him on Saturday. And honestly, weather it is him or Moss, I think both do better when they get more reps and don't split them. I'm not worried about it.
  4. If this is a real thing, I'm all for it!
  5. Perspective: The Ravens put up 20 points against the worse Defensive team in the play-offs this weekend. And . . . Their Defense padded their stats against very weak late season opponents. L Jackson did not have a 300 yard passing game this season and only 5 games +200 Lamar had only 3 100+ rushing games (counting Tenn. yesterday) all season They only had 3 receivers go over a 100+ yards per game all season - Brown in wk 1 = 101; Snead in wk 8 = 106; and Brown again yesterday vs. Tenn = 109 In the four games that Jackson lost (he missed one game), his QBR was: 31.7, 13.5, 66.9, and 37.4 (that is bad at all levels) In a game they won, Jackson had a QBR of 69.4 and 58 rushing yards against the Colts Other common opponents ( QBR/RushingYards): KC 31.8/83 (L); Pitts 13.5/65 (L); Colts 69.4/58 (W); NE 66.9/55 (L); Tenn 37.4/51 (L); & yesterday, Tenn 84.6/136 (W) Records versus common opponents (with LJ at QB): Baltimore 2-4, Bills 4-2 In those 6 common opponent games, the Ravens gave up 138 points or 23 per game. Against those same teams, the Bills gave up 137 or 22.8 per game (42 of them in the Tennessee clunker) Conclusion - Defenses are fairly even .... Season totals favor Ravens, but the difference is slight--Big difference, points. But I attribute that more to the Ravens having a much easier schedule - On Offense, the Bills have the edge in points and yards - Contain Jackson = Win!
  6. One simple formula for winning this game: Keep Jackson's running under control. I don't have a magic number, but I would say less than 75 yards. And especially on the scrambles--that is were he really kills teams. Contain the designed runs and the Raven's run game (less than 175 ???), and don't let him go off on long scramble plays. .... That's all 😁
  7. I was so hoping to avoid Collingsworth. He is just no fun to listen to, no matter who's playing.
  8. Starting a new rumor: DeSawn Watson to Pittsburgh.
  9. The only group melting down more than Steelers’ fans about this game, are the Bills fans on this board. ... COME ON! Are we really that afraid of the Ravens??? Bring’em on!
  10. Time to put Mason Rudolph in the game.
  11. Those are some serious 1st World problems right there.
  12. Down to Ravens or Steelers
  13. Given a choice, the Jets. As for the 3 options, whoever it is, make them one dimensional: - Ravens = stop the run, make LJ throw. - Titans = stop the run, make Tanny throw. - Steelers = they already are 1D, stop the short pass game and have to go long
  14. I thought the Bills we’re going to use Gilliam in that type of role. At least I would like to see that, he also gives real run and pass catching options.
  15. I think there is real possibility they do resign him. They liked him on Special Teams, he adds depth in receiving, and I'm fairly certain they will go with Yeldon to RB (so may be no need to bring up WIlliams?). It would not surprise me to see Kumerow back within the week .... Question: Do they consider him more valuable than Stills--to make active?
  16. I agree. That would bring closure. But their unending stubbornness and willing to lie (or, at least willingness to create Fake News) to everyone watching to cover their tails is what is frustrating.
  17. I did not read the entire thread, so forgive me if this has already been brought up. But here is my question: They said in the explanation that he was down by contact. Okay. But I would like to ask those officials, had he got up, took off and gained yards or scored a touchdown, are you calling it back? Would the review have spotted it there and kept the clock running? ..... My gut feeling, no way they would change it. Clearly the "down by contact" was them covering their behind(s).
  18. I was "the Good, the Bad, or the Ugly?" Answer: All of the above in one game.
  19. I nominate this thread title for "Title of the Season." I laughed out loud when I read the "Five Mississippi" count. So true that this is what it felt like. I can just picture it in the back yard.
