  1. sounds like we should be bringing pressure from his side.
  2. Happy Game Day, all! Got my morning shopping in and now settled in to watch football and get ready for the game. GO BILLS!!!!
  3. Yes, everywhere. Last November I was in San Jose, Costa Rica, and doing a jog around the campus of the University of Costa Rica. I'm wearing a Bills t-shirt, and out of no where a hear an older Costa Rican man, yell to me "GO BILLS" and give a thumbs up. It was clear he was not fluent in English (and I am not in Spanish), we exchanged greeting and smiles over our favorite team. It was a fun moment. . . . Indeed, the Bills have an international fan base.
  4. My profound thought and one and only contribution to this thread: Is this the week Tyler Bass kicks a 60+ yard field goal? . . . I think he could hit a 70 yarder in Mile High, but would McD ever let him try???
  5. So the likelihood: Buffalo Bills (10-3) over Denver Broncos (5-8) => Yes Cincinnati Bengals (2-10-1) over Pittsburgh Steelers (11-2) => Very low Detroit Lions over Tennessee Titans (9-4) => Low New Orleans Saints over Kansas City Chiefs (12-1) => Even (But it doesn't matter, the odds of catching KC are very slim) New England Patriots (6-7) over Miami Dolphins (8-5) => The way Cam is playing, Low Jacksonville Jaguars (1-12) over Baltimore Ravens (8-5) => Very low Houston Texans (4-9) over Indianapolis Colts (9-4) => Even? New York Giants over Cleveland Browns (9-4) => Low So, the likely best the Bills can do this weekend is WIN and hope to get an upset or two. Best to just concentrate on TAKING CARE OF WHAT YOU CAN CONTROL = the game before you!
  6. Great observation Matter. I thought I was seeing that in the games, glad the stats confirm what I thought I was seeing.
  7. A few thoughts about your "Thoughts" Virgil: Thank you! As always, good work. I look forward to your post every week and I had given up on you for this game. Way to come through in the 4th quarter. On Pele: He is on the pantheon of transcendent athletes with W. Gretzky, B. Ruth, M. Jordon, R. Petty, L. James, and T. Brady (sorry about that last one all, but by my criteria of people who were the best in their sport, and who are cultural icons outside of it, apologetically, I have to include him). . . . Am I missing anyone? Points 1, 2, & 3: They are, as the saying goes, "On Point!" You nailed all three.
  8. Please! @AKC, what was that post? You have me curious, can you re-post it?
  9. No doubt that opening play set the tone for the game. I thought at the time it was cool that #44 Matakavich got that first hit were he did. It did not pay immediate dividends, but the payout showed up it time.
  10. Just shows, Rex is still clueless. What a dope. I don't watch ESPN because he's on there. The only good thing that came out of the Rex era was the Pegulas' quickly realized what a mistake he was and got rid of him soon enough to hire McD and Beane.
  11. This thread reminds me . . . We should call up Christian Wade. Let's see what he can do over these last few weeks. Why not? 🤪
  12. Just one win = the next game! And who is that? = Denver. And then the next game = New England. And then the next game = The Fish! . . . Win out and the possibility of getting the #2 seed is real high. Of course, we need the Stillers to help us.
  13. Bills always draw big numbers in national games. And that should only get better.
  14. Hopefully it is not an issue if he is ready to return.
  15. Not sure John Brown will be back, doesn't he have a medical condition that keeps him from playing in high-altitude places?
