The Cap space thing reminds me of an Elvis Costello song Why don't you tell me 'bout the mystery dance? I want to know about the mystery dance . . . . 'Cause I've tried and I've tried And I'm still mystified I can't do it anymore and I'm not satisfied Admittedly, I do not understand the Cap thing, other than it limits how much money any team can spend, and sometimes you have to cut high-paid players or let them walk to stay under it. But it seems to me, that guys like Milano who are entering Free Agency this year are not going to have too many options. The general message is, teams have little room to resign or bid for free agents. Where are all these released and FA players going to play? A guess a few teams with the cap space will have a chance to get real good real fast. And many players are about to be really disappointed, or short sell on undervalued one-year contracts, or start looking for gainful employment out of the NFL. Like I said: " Cause I've tried and I've tried, And I'm still mystified" -
Could the Bills be looking to incorporate a Thug OL?

How about that kid from Notre Dame, .... or the dude from USC, .... or that thug from Miami ? ? ? -
The idiot here is Meyer. It didn’t take too long for his narcissistic self to shine through in his new gig. “Urb, this is the NFL, not like the usual big time and isolated-from-any-control college programs you normally lead. No boosters to cover for you here.” How many black FAs will choose to play for him? Answer, little to none. They should fire him now if they really want to make a statement.

Re-sign or “Wave Good-bye” series: Player 5 - Jon Feliciano
CSBill replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bottom line: Sure, we all would like to upgrade and get better at the guard spots. But if there is no easy or obvious path to that, Feliciano is a good consolation prize. He's proven he is capable--not the best, but certainly good. He is versatile--I would not be disappointed at all if he moved over to become the starting center (if Morse is let go). And he is a process guy, trusted by his teammates and the coaches. If the financials work out, the Bills can keep him and still upgrade the o-line with one or two other additions. I hope he does stay in Buffalo. -
MVP vote - Josh got 2nd most votes

Relax, just being funny. Is it too soon? Except about the Stefanski issue, your anecdotal reasoning doesn't convince me. -
Re-sign or “Wave Good-bye” series: Player 3 - Ike Boettger

Don't play around with tender offers, or whatever. You invest in guys like him to protect your most available asset, your superstar QB. Resign him. -
MVP vote - Josh got 2nd most votes

Interesting that all of them were landslides (the only one with any drama was the DPOY). Which makes me wonder, how much does the general national press narrative control this process? Do these people do any real homework and dig into the stats, the circumstances, etc.??? The one that really tips it off is not only did Stefanski win COTY, it was, again, a landslide. By all objectives measures, McDermott did more. But the vote not even close. Why? Even more election fraud going on here than in a Presidential election. -
For competition reasons, I would prefer he go to the Bears, or any NFC team. But it seems like Indy would a great landing spot for him. They would have the pieces around him, especially a competent o-line, something he does not have in Philadelphia. And then, Watson would be free to go to Philadelphia, out of the Bills way and into a division where a player like him could make an immediate impact, they would probably be picked to win the division.

Tyreek Hill impressed by Justin Zimmer
CSBill replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rex scheme ??? .... or maybe it was Rex and his “scheme” that did not belong in the NFL? He tried to force it in Buffalo and took a top 3 defense and flushed it down the drain. -
One play made him a fortune. But it was a heck of a play.
