    Hoping for: Something Beane always seems to do well is sign solid pick-ups in positions of need. This takes pressure off the draft, and helps plug holes where there are weaknesses/needs. There have been a few misses, but overall he has a good record.

    This is a legitimate and fair question. I’m starting to lean towards a systems problem. But I don’t have enough defensive line acumen to know exactly what the problem is; other than, it seems to be perpetually none-effective.
