  1. Rex scheme ??? .... or maybe it was Rex and his “scheme” that did not belong in the NFL? He tried to force it in Buffalo and took a top 3 defense and flushed it down the drain.
  2. He has improved because his consistency has improved. The Bills have now invested 3 seasons in him and he has moved to the top quadrant of NFL punters. They have been patient with him, so time to reap the ROI. Sign him to 3-4 year deal.
  3. One play made him a fortune. But it was a heck of a play.
  4. He has grown in this aspect. It helps when you have better players and it's not as risky taking a risk. ...... As for play-off game, hindsight is always so clear. Maybe, but oh so many things I would do differently if I knew the outcome before. ..... He'll learn what he needs.
  5. No! On Sherman ..... non-process guy, best days way behind him. He would be Josh Norman 2.0 Atkins, forgot he was still in the league .... for a low-end no risk contract, sure. If he makes it, great! If not, "you've had a nice career, enjoy your next life."
  6. Bates! Bates! Bates! . . . He’ll be part of the line solution going forward. He is one of the reasons that Morse is Cap Space expendable.
  7. Of all these guys, I keep Brown, Hughes, one of the 3 D-lineman, and Hyde. That would be about 20m saving and keeping some key pieces. Concerning Brown, we did not really get to see much of the best Bills WR line-up this season. I think there is more, much more, potential for this offense if we can keep him and he is healthy the entire season. .... I suggest they try to restructure his deal. Not sure he would get 8 M on the open market?
  8. Well, we can be happy now--I guess--but when/if Deshaun Watson ends up there we may all regret that.
  9. Interesting, but I kind of feel bad for Goff. For a California guy, that's like being sent to football Siberia--literally and figuratively. And while they had him. Not much is really going to change in Detroit--for them it's "We sucked with you, we can suck just as well without you." At least they got the draft capital.
  10. Bring him back, he is the perfect utility knife on offense: slot receiver,wide-out when needed, motion guy, Lamar J game clone, return ability, jet sweeper, emergency DB, fashionable, etc.
  11. Interesting. It would be fun if he made it. But I will miss the weekly, "Let's call up Wade" threads next season.
  12. Or maybe the sun doesn't shine in Buffalo from October to May ???
  13. RB Christian Wade will not be exempt next year. ..... The wait is finally over, August can't get here soon enough.
  14. Okay. I'm over it now. It was tremendous season. The most fun for me as a fan since the Flutie era, and play-off runs before that. Time to start getting ready for next year. We are only one game away from taking it all. Let that sink in and enjoy it for a few months. HOPEFULLY, we can all gather together in Orchard Park next September! GO BILLS !!!
  15. He did look good. It is obvious he can catch the ball like a receiver. I was trying to watch how he did at picking up pressure and I did not see any mistakes, he handled what he was supposed to. And he looks more than adequate as a runner. I know many have said it, but I can't figure out why he did not get more playing time this season. He will be playing for someone next year. He will never be a star, but I see him as a very productive 3rd down back--especially on a pass-happy team. Know any teams like that?
  16. Well, it’s been a fun ride. See you all in September. GO BILLS !!!
  17. Has Gabriel Davis even played? I think a waste of a roster spot tonight.
  18. Neither the Offensive or Defensive strategy worked in the 1st half. .... Let’s see what changes they make. .... Need to get more aggressive on Defense and more creative on Offense
  19. That second down should have been a run. They’re mugging our WRs, run Josh. Daboll is not having his best game.
