  1. 4.36 40 ... Former Basketball player but very raw in football. ... Shouldn't he be a Tight End ????
  2. Another smart signing. And who cannot root for this guy? If he does well, he'll be a cult hero and Bills role model for years to come.
  3. I like the idea of Slaton, or someone like him. Also, Earnest Jones: I think the Bills still need to improve at LB, at the least, LB depth.
  4. Pat Freiermuth is someone I would like to see the Bills draft. But for all the reasons expressed on this board, trading down to try and get him specifically is risky business. A better approach is to trade down, add picks, and then use them to trade back where they think he is worthy of being picked, if the desire is to draft a TE early. Also, it seems to me TE drafting in general is one of the hardest things to predict. It seems that many are taken high and do not turn out to be much. And then each year there is the obligatory college basketball power forward who is drafted low who turns out to be a decent player. I don't know, it just seems that TE drafting is crap shoot to draft. And for that, I'm always leery of picking one in round 1 or 2.
  5. That was very kind of them, Beane and McDermott are such nice guys.
  6. I was just thinking, here we are half way through March and no Christian Wade thread.
  7. Like my mother used to say when we broke something, “that’s why we can’t have nice thing.”
  8. Well, that blows up the 46 pages on the Ertz thread. Welcome to Buffalo, Mr. Hollister. His stats
  9. Once he hears we signed Trubisky, he'll be on the next flight to Buffalo.
  10. People can change. Give him the chance to prove it. Ability wise, on the right affordable one-year deal, he would be a great signing.
  11. I also think they'll draft someone early. But what we have now is a very decent lineup with good reserves.
  12. The timeline for the next 6 months: Month 1 - Allegations come out, and have enough merit to go to court Month 2 - Texans support Watson and tell all to wait and let the justice system do its thing Month 3 - NFL investigates and decides to suspend him indefinately Month 4 - Texans finally release him Month 5 - Sign with NE Month 6 - Settles suit out of court, cleared legally, and NFL lifts suspension just in time for him to start opening weekend
  13. Tyrod has made a lot of money masquerading as a NFL quarterback. He just did it again yesterday.
  14. With Star returning, the entire line will be better. Wise move by Beane not to panic and overspend on anyone the first day of FA. He'll sign a a few veteran prove-it deals for depth, and the Bills D will be back in top form next year.
  15. In Dane we trust. . . . And the Bills will sign some veteran as insurance, like they do every year.
  16. Well, it seems like the Bills are going to be observers for the top level guys. Disappointing, but not unexpected.
  17. A courageous move in taking the steps to get clean, and then going public to help others (and to up the accountability). Thank you, Jordan Poyer.
  18. I would guess Feliciano's future with the Bills is directly tied to how the Bills fell about Ike Boettger. They're not going to give up on Ford yet. It seems as long as he is healthy he is penciled in at a Guard spot. Morse is locked in at Center. Boettger had a decent run at the end of the season--they have plenty of game tape to evaluate his potential now. Plus, he has also worked at Center. So if they believe he can start at Guard and be a legit option at Center, it feels like Ike is a cheaper but equal option over Feliciano. Jon F. may be the odd man out??? Add to that, super-sub Ryan Bates is always waiting in the wings (is he ready to compete for a starting spot?). And, they resigned Devey for Insurance. .... I really like Feliciano, but the stars are not aligning for him. I hope not, but I would not be surprised.
  19. Wow! Really did not see that coming. Glad they did, but a bit surprised.
