  1. Breaking news: Star playing? Is it more wise to risk the health of your $45 million QB by not having him out there?
  2. Houston Texans (1-8) over Tennessee Titans (8-2) ….. Nope Chicago Bears over Baltimore Ravens (6-3) ….. Nope (One of the above will be this week’s wild upset. Bears more likely) Dallas Cowboys over Kansas City Chiefs (6-4) ….. Yes Los Angeles Chargers (5-4) over Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3-1) ….. Yes. Steelers will fade Detroit Lions over Cleveland Browns (5-5) ….. QB out, Nope Cincinnati Bengals (5-4) over Las Vegas Raiders (5-4) …. Yes, but a toss-up
  3. The lack of opportunity for Ryan Bates with all the problems this year is "a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma; but perhaps there is a key." .... Maybe he is just not as good as we fantasize? ..... Or MAYBE, just MAYBE, this is the week?
  4. Yeah, if the NFL is serious (or the Bucs, but that ain't happening) they can chase the veracity of any card. For many reasons, careful records of shots administered are kept. It really is not that hard to determine the truthfulness of the card/claim. A fake card is a criminal act. Will local or federal officials investigate--there has to be some reason to do so (I doubt an internet article qualifies). It will be telling how they, the NFL and the NFLPA, handle this.
  5. I was thinking about this this morning: With all the turmoil and questions about this team right now, and the chaos that has been the current NFL season (upsets, Covid benching, etc.), I am beginning to adjust my expectation about the playoffs. With the loss to Tennessee, our odds of being the #1 seed are low, very low--we would need a lot of help to get there. I now think the most realistic goal is the AFC East title, and host a round one playoff game. That is doable, even with the current difficulties. Should anything else happen (key injuries, more Covid, another dumb loss, etc.), the goal may need to be to just to survive and make the playoffs, and then roll your dice there. The Bills are capable of beating any team in the AFC. So while not ideal, with any more big setbacks, just surviving this dip and getting in may the most realistic expectation we should have. And then we see what happens. Not giving in, I still think we could be the #1 (I do feel at full strength, we are the best AFC team), but trying to be real.
  6. Yes, quite surprising he would do something like this.
  7. What do we need to do to get Cody Ford on the COVID list?
  8. Bass is spoiling us. He has become almost automatic--we're only surprised if he misses (yeah, only once all season). To crown his as the best (in the Justin Tucker-ish category), I'm still waiting for that dramatic game ending and winning 55+ yard field goal. That is the only thing he really has not done yet. Show you can be ice, in a dramatic way, at he end of game, and the kicking world is yours Tyler Bass!
  9. I think if they use McKenzie more on offense, the possibility of bringing up Stevenson to do kick and punt returning duties greatly increases.
  10. Filmed in my home town of Turtlepoint! A cinematic classic! 🤪
  11. Great Job, as always Virgil. Concerning points 2, 5, & 7 (Breida, McKenzie, Davis), my take is that getting more speed involved in the offense is a good thing. Continue to find creative ways to do that Mr. Daboll.
  12. Wow! Those are some impressive charts. Not sure I understood any of them, but they are impressive. I think what it all says is: Carson Wentz sucks - here is my chart for that:
  13. The Colts could not stop him the last time we played them.
  14. What the last two weeks have shown us, there are no truly dominant teams in the NFL this year. There are upper-echelon teams, like the Bills, and any one of those teams can make a case for a serious super bowl run (like the Bills)--should they put it all together. Hold on, it's going to be a wild ride these next eight weeks.
  15. I’ve said it before, Zimmer would have been perfect for this role.
  16. ah, apologies
  17. I think these are all based on averages, another game could help or hurt any one of them. Hopefully this weekend raises each one of those averages.
  18. Wasn’t he starting for them. Good OL play is hard to come by.
  19. And Saints, and there are many games over the course of a season decided because of bad, and good, FG and PAT kicking. Has to be the right circumstance (end of half, or end of game tying or winning), but he'll get that opportunity some day.
  20. On "B" - I believe because it was a run, they get the yards added. If it was an incomplete pass, they just get the five yards.
  21. So he'll be moved inside next year?
  22. He looked great yesterday; then again, the Jets made everyone on this Defense look great yesterday. But, with Klein the Bills have a more than capable backup at Linebacker, and that is a big asset in the NFL where injuries can change a season for a team. I like him in the role we have for him. It's not a catastrophe when Milano or Edmunds go down.
  23. If Josh Allen is a serious candidate for the MVP award, this national audience game will be the first big push for it. If he plays great with everyone watching--and then two others shortly thereafter (Tampa Bay and NE)--he will get serious consideration. Play big when the spot light is on, and you get attention.
  24. Just watched the Titans game highlights; they are the luckiest team in the league: scored a TD because of a phantom roughing the passer call, and then the Saints kicker misses not one, but two extra-points. Anyone of those three things go differently and they lose today.
  25. Allen Diggs Davis Left Side of the O-Line Breida - Honorable Mention, the fumble when we should have been putting them away cost him. Klein - He was everywhere Oliver The Secondary
