  1. I woke all ready to post in the Game Day Thread, and then remembered. .... It's going to be a long 36 hours.
  2. Agree! I was thinking about this the other day; find your best base personnel and throw it in 2-3 times a game. Especially when the other team is rolling out their 2nd unit, or making subs, to give people a rest. I think the Bills are built for it now with the o-line back to 100% (to someone's point above, our RB's are good at picking up blocks and catching the ball, and we do now have an elite TE), it could be a big advantage at the right time.
  3. Last week was a pretty good outcome all things considered. Let's hope for the same this week, capped off by a Bills win on Monday night. Here are my thoughts . . . Pittsburgh Steelers (5-5-1) over Baltimore Ravens (8-3), Line: Ravens by 4 . . . I think the Steelers pull off the minor upset, Raven averaging 18 points in their last four games, and the Steelers can run and stopping the run game is a Raven D weakness. Las Vegas Raiders (6-5) over the Washington Football Team (5-6), Line: Raiders by 2.5 . . . Raiders at home, they win. Houston Texans (2-9) over Indianapolis Colts (6-6) Line: Colts by 9.5 . . . Colts Las Vegas Chargers (6-5) over Cincinnati Bengals (7-4) Line: Bengals by 3 [ 😂 ] . . . The mercurial Chargers pull it out Denver Broncos (6-5) over Kansas City Chiefs (7-4) Line: Chiefs by 9.5 . . . In KC, the Chiefs take care of business. New York Giants over Miami Dolphins (5-7), Line: Dolphins by 4.5 . . . Jones out, Giants done, the Fish win at home If I am on, not a lot of help for the Bills this week. The best thing they can do, not worry about the others and put a Can of Ash Whoop'en on the Pats and take control of the Division again.
  4. This is going to be a long weekend. I might actually do some chores around the house to keep me occupied, or worse, go do some Christmas shopping. 😩
  5. Well said. .... GO BILLS! .... Oh the joy we will feel when we make Mac Jones look like a rookie QB on national television.
  6. An early entry for the Game Day thread.
  7. And this is the game where Josh and the Bills crushed them. If Riddick was correct about all BB’s extra work for that game, no wonder he was so frustrated and throwing Microsoft tablets around. 🤪
  8. But can either play CB?
  9. I still like it, but I would say overall it has one down hill. Just not much freshness to it anymore, it seems to be getting quite predictable.
  10. Yes, they've been inconsistent, maybe even borderline bi-polar disorder status, we all kind-of knew that.
  11. Dawg, overall I agree with your point, but with one exception: I don't think we can spin the Colts game in any other way than they flat-out beat us up and down all day. Yes, we helped them with a costly turnover and some dumb penalties. But in the end, they whipped our behinds. The one that will sting all year is the Jaguars games, I still have nightmares from that game. But your point is on target, when we play our at our best, I am still confident the Bills are the best team in the AFC.
  12. Well, I can remember Jack Kemp and when we drafted OJ, so I had to choose the last one. But, they say 40 is the new 60, so I'm feeling more like the Newlywed category ????
  13. That is clearly the question of the day as they get back to practice. Keep your Twitter feed open, ladies and gentleman.
  14. Get that guy to Buffalo and working with McKenzie and Stevenson ASAP!
  15. Thanks Virgil The McKenzie situation is interesting. Clearly there is more to it than what we’ve seen in the games. As for Stevenson, I held my breath on every kick. I love the speed he brings, but he fumbled a few in preseason and this one on Thursday. I hope it does not bite at the worst possible time (but is there ever a good time for a fumble?).
  16. Listening to Collingsworth talk about the Ravens offense, I thought they had scored 30 points this half. Just think where they’d be if they were only average: only 3 points?
  17. That one is going to hurt for a long time.
  18. I just read about half this thread. I’m exhausted. 🤔
  19. Good thoughts, but I think I would rate the Pats DL over ours. Also, TE is a push. The question in all these is to what degree is any unit better than the other? For example their DL being slightly better than ours does not outweigh the vast advantage we have at QB and WR. Or, WRs against DBs? OL against DL? etc.
  20. Makes me mad that the Bills didn’t make a play for him last year after Jacksonville released him. That is one I wish we could have back.
  21. You should tell McDermott about that underneath and misdirection stuff, I bet he isn’t aware.
  22. This thread reminds me of the old Crazy Eddie commercials: “CRAZY EDDIE, his prices are INSANE!”
  23. My hot takes . . . Tennessee at New England ... I'm good either way, but as winning the Division is priority #1, I'll root for Tenn (and our chances at #1 seed are slim to none) Cincinnati at Pittsburgh .... Need to go with Cincinnati, with the loss to the Steelers we cannot get in a situation where they climb ahead of us Tampa Bay at Indianapolis .... Cannot end the season in any kind of ties with Indy now, Go Bucs! Los Angeles Chargers at Denver .... A Denver win keeps both of these below us record wise, keep it that way Cleveland at Baltimore .... We'll probably be battling the Ravens for a 2 or 3 seeding, got to hope for a Cleveland win I don't like my odds here, going with four road teams? These are who I want to win, not who I really think will win. It would not surprise me to be wrong in all five.
