Dawg, overall I agree with your point, but with one exception: I don't think we can spin the Colts game in any other way than they flat-out beat us up and down all day. Yes, we helped them with a costly turnover and some dumb penalties. But in the end, they whipped our behinds. The one that will sting all year is the Jaguars games, I still have nightmares from that game. But your point is on target, when we play our at our best, I am still confident the Bills are the best team in the AFC.

What is your Buffalo Bills relationship status?
CSBill replied to cwater10's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, I can remember Jack Kemp and when we drafted OJ, so I had to choose the last one. But, they say 40 is the new 60, so I'm feeling more like the Newlywed category ???? -
That is clearly the question of the day as they get back to practice. Keep your Twitter feed open, ladies and gentleman.

Get that guy to Buffalo and working with McKenzie and Stevenson ASAP! -
A Few Thoughts about the Saints Game, in no particular order
CSBill replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thanks Virgil The McKenzie situation is interesting. Clearly there is more to it than what we’ve seen in the games. As for Stevenson, I held my breath on every kick. I love the speed he brings, but he fumbled a few in preseason and this one on Thursday. I hope it does not bite at the worst possible time (but is there ever a good time for a fumble?). -
SNF: Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens
CSBill replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Listening to Collingsworth talk about the Ravens offense, I thought they had scored 30 points this half. Just think where they’d be if they were only average: only 3 points? -

That one is going to hurt for a long time. -
I just read about half this thread. I’m exhausted. 🤔

Bills vs Pats: “pound for pound” teams analysis
CSBill replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good thoughts, but I think I would rate the Pats DL over ours. Also, TE is a push. The question in all these is to what degree is any unit better than the other? For example their DL being slightly better than ours does not outweigh the vast advantage we have at QB and WR. Or, WRs against DBs? OL against DL? etc. -
11/28 Football: Tennessee @ New England 1 pm on CBS

Makes me mad that the Bills didn’t make a play for him last year after Jacksonville released him. That is one I wish we could have back. -

My hot takes . . . Tennessee at New England ... I'm good either way, but as winning the Division is priority #1, I'll root for Tenn (and our chances at #1 seed are slim to none) Cincinnati at Pittsburgh .... Need to go with Cincinnati, with the loss to the Steelers we cannot get in a situation where they climb ahead of us Tampa Bay at Indianapolis .... Cannot end the season in any kind of ties with Indy now, Go Bucs! Los Angeles Chargers at Denver .... A Denver win keeps both of these below us record wise, keep it that way Cleveland at Baltimore .... We'll probably be battling the Ravens for a 2 or 3 seeding, got to hope for a Cleveland win I don't like my odds here, going with four road teams? These are who I want to win, not who I really think will win. It would not surprise me to be wrong in all five. -

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - The Six-game Season Begins
CSBill replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thanks, as always, Shaw, You bring up Stevenson. I am not convinced yet. He appears to have more raw speed than McKenzie--which serves better on Kickoff returns. But I would say McKenzie has better twitch quickness, which serves better on punt returns. Stevenson avoided disaster on the punt he muffed, but that could have been brutal. If McKenzie got tabled for his fumble against the Colts, what does Stevenson earn in this? He juggled a few in the preseason as well. I have no more confidence in him than Isaiah. Does McDermott? I guess we'll see. I would also add, McKenzie has performed well on offense when given the opportunities but he has not had many this season (compared to last year). Does Stevenson bring something there? I'm not convinced, but, again, I guess we'll see. -
That would be ideal; but, I'll take the division crown any way we can get it. The Titans beating the Pats gives a little more wiggle room. But really, it all boils down to beating the Pats
-
He brings a different element, especially as a receiver when we can get him in space (he has raw speed and seems to have good instincts), but "transforms"? I'll reserve judgement on that. I still have memories of the rather nonproductive Pittsburgh game--which is why he went into the Bills Witness Protection Program for several weeks--and his 29 yards rushing this week doesn't not scream "transformative." I would suggest having Spencer Brown and Jon Feliciano back is more transformational to the running game. With them, the Online goes back to their best version of themselves, and that will be a bigger factor than any of the Bills running backs.

Let's hope!

Potential for Spenser Brown move? (to LT?)
CSBill replied to Toledo Bill's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Doyle develops to being a starter at one of the Tackle positions (with S Brown at the other), or the Bills get another starter in the off-season, I would expect they move Dawkins to left guard next season. By the way, I was excited to see Bates at RG for a few plays, but unfortunately not long enough to make a true assessment--but he did well in his brief appearance before getting injured. And then Douglas came in before Ford returned, and both he and Bates did respectable. -
Ed Oliver has been a beast the last few games...
CSBill replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
He did, and I would suggest having the big guys in the middle, Bryant and Ankou occupying people, helps him. I hope they keep them around even after Star returns. Beef in the middle helps a lot.
