  1. I think Josh has to be a part of this. Do they play both ways?
  2. The "AFC Richmond Greyhounds."
  3. Wondering if any Bills deserve consideration? No obvious people come to mind. I was surprised to see Baker Mayfield on the list. He is that old, and two, he is ahead of Matt Stafford. I'm not sure I agree with the ladder. And Diggs, I guess he has only had one bad season. But I'm not convinced he recovers and is any better this year.
  4. This is why, having lived through the entire Bills' history, I bask in their recent success. As a franchise, we have had two great eras: the early 1990s and the past five years. Are we currently spoiled, maybe? But I enjoy every moment of it. And if the Bills ever do win it all, I think, like many old-timers, we'll go to the party of the century in Buffalo and then die some time later that week, having finally accomplished the last big thing on our bucket list. Go Bills! I think 🙂
  5. I think later is better for emotional and mental rest as much as physical. It's a long season and a break right before the stretch run is a good thing. But, it is what it is, so make the best of it. Aren't the Bills undefeated (8-0) coming out of the bye week under McDermott? Flat, maybe? 8-0, yes.
  6. What was Gabe in for? Regardless, I'm glad he is free now and has a chance to reset his life.
  7. The NFL does not want to waste the Bills' TV ratings on an international game. Only fans of the teams involved bother getting up early on a Sunday morning to watch these games. And I always forget they are on and usually only catch the last quarter, if it's a good game, which it rarely seems to be. They are gimmick games.
  8. It's surprising that he played for that (low) amount of money. I wonder if he had a different or NIL-like contract outside the team?
  9. Yes! But I think that every year???
  10. That happened when he got off the plane--even without his notebook.
  11. He doesn't even start for his college team.
  12. Shakir - Mr. Reliable Coleman - Will grow as a pro and improve immensely Kincaid - Gets back to his effective role as a hybrid WR / TE that creates match-up problems Palmer - Revives his career under Josh Samuel & Moore - Equally Situational contributors, good options, but not great Knox - Mostly a blocking TE or injury "next man up"
  13. I may be one of them. And/or, the game in Atlanta. There's a big Bills Mafia presence there as well.
  14. I am not a ST holder, and I only attend about once a year. But in my random pursuit, I have enjoyed the endzone seats--lower bowl--as you get a full view of what is developing as plays unfold on the field. The negative is when the entire game seems to be played on the other end of the field. The worst for me (in many ways) was the Minnesota game in '22. All the significant action was at the other end of the field in that game. First, we were celebrating at the stop. And then, not until we saw it on the big screen did we have any idea Josh fumbled in their endzone. Ugh!
  15. Only fitting that the game ended on a Trent Edwards dump-off pass. That defines an era.
  16. This, for me. It was Josh's coming-out party on national TV.
  17. Hahaha! I feel ya. Yuuup!
  18. Agree, but . . . Not KC, we know we can beat them and we know how to beat them: play good defense (just have not done that in the playoffs) As for the Ravens, everyone knows that if you keep Lamar from going off-script, you have good odds at beating them. The Bills are good at that and have had decent success against them. He has also had some regular-season success against us. I say it's 55/45 odds with the lean toward the Bills. You can also add that Harbaugh is not a good game-day coach. Despite the reputation, he makes some head-scratching decisions at times. The Bengals are our toughest team. Why? Joe Burrow is a precision passer, and with a very good set of receivers, he can carve up a defense like the Bills' soft zone. It's close, and the case could be made for all three of them, but I slightly lean towards the Bengals.
  19. A little Biblical wisdom seems appropriate here: Proverbs 29:25 (KJV): The fear of man brings a snare, Or this newer translation (NLT) captures it well . . . Fearing people is a dangerous trap,
  20. This post reminds me of the old saying in Cincinnati, "If it's Brown, flush it down!"
  21. I think it basically says one has a very, very, good Defense that keeps him in games and gives him a chance to win. The other has little to no help from his Defense and has to try to do it all himself. Exhibit A has a Super Bowl Ring. Exhibit B is still chasing the opportunity to get one. And the "between-the-lines" implication: Maybe you should be drafting more Defensive players to help solve this.
  22. The sideshow in Cleveland masquerading as an NFL football team just got more hilarious, so I pick them as the biggest winners and losers in the off-season.
