  1. Free agency is such a bust for the Bills, we should have signed Metcalf, Garrett, and Crosby--along with giving Josh another $50 million and Cook his $15 mill. What is Beane thinking?
  2. Hoping for: Something Beane always seems to do well is sign solid pick-ups in positions of need. This takes pressure off the draft, and helps plug holes where there are weaknesses/needs. There have been a few misses, but overall he has a good record.
  3. So the conclusion is, sign Myles Garrett.
  4. I have a Ph.D., but I do not have enough education to read and understand this Rorschach Chart-like thing. 🫣 Did Joey Bosa pee on it, or something? Please help?
  5. I think Williams will be a starter in one way or another next season. Excellent data-driven analysis, folz. Thank you
  6. This is where I'm leaning. But only for Garett or Crosby. If not, do the best you can in the draft.
  7. It sounds like a perfect fit for the J.E.T.S. to replace their 41-year-old QB.
  8. = Von 2.0 --- Injuries have defined his career more than sacks. Not at this stage of his football life
  9. Great reporting. Any casual fan of the Buffalo Bills knows this.
  10. And that is a conundrum: Why didn't a guy who has had above-average success in two other places ever see the field in Buffalo? And the same with Tim Settle; he had a fantastic year in Houston. ????
  11. Who, like Ford and Settle, has done really well somewhere else.
  12. This is a legitimate and fair question. I’m starting to lean towards a systems problem. But I don’t have enough defensive line acumen to know exactly what the problem is; other than, it seems to be perpetually none-effective.
  13. Is it 7 months away? It feels like the calendar slows down during these months.
  14. Agree. That is a good comparison.
  15. "His name cleared"???? It would take an army of lawyers to do that. I'm not a fan of Martin, but I appreciate that he owned his part in "Bullygate," but Ingonito (or the others) was no innocent victim here.
  16. This is a logical fallacy (i.e., a polite philosophical way of saying "a stupid argument") because most coaches never get to stay that long. If anything, this information recognizes that they are good great coaches whom their organizations believe(d) in. Coaches are only as good as the players they have. Coaching only takes you so far; at some point, talent plus coaching takes over. All these coaches were blessed to have been given the time to allow their talent to catch up with their coaching. Where would Andy Reid be today without Patrick Mahomes????? Yes, the Bills have one of the best QBs in football, but they have needs. Wasn't that the narrative all off-season? This team was in danger of not making the playoffs; they were done as AFC East Kings, it's a rebuild, etc., etc. An alternative narrative, and I believe the correct one, is that McDermott got more out of this team than anyone expected, and for them to go as far as they did and to be that close is a testament to his coaching ability.
  17. Of these three, Slaton would make the most difference for us. Beef on the D-line is a huge need (and the price is right).
  18. Bills have solved the Fangio defense many times. We crush them!
  19. I haven't thought about it much. This has been a much more productive week since last Sunday, as this is the first time I have looked at anything on TBD. This was supposed to be a rebuilding year--lost players, salary cap hits, etc.--but it turned out to be a year where expectations probably outran reality. Our team was surprisingly very good, and with a few days of reflection, we got the most, really, more, out of this team than we should have. We got a little spoiled and greedy. And that is not bad. But because of that, we can too easily forget what was actually accomplished--which was a lot. The future is bright. I will leave it to Marv to move us forward: "A LITTLE I AM HERT, BUT NOT YET SLAIN. I'LL JUST LIE DOWN AND BLEED A WHILE, THEN I'LL RISE AND FIGHT AGAIN."
