I agree. I'm unsure why Rapp always gets a bad rap here on TBD. I consider him a good Safety.

Wondering if any Bills deserve consideration? No obvious people come to mind. I was surprised to see Baker Mayfield on the list. He is that old, and two, he is ahead of Matt Stafford. I'm not sure I agree with the ladder. And Diggs, I guess he has only had one bad season. But I'm not convinced he recovers and is any better this year.

This is why, having lived through the entire Bills' history, I bask in their recent success. As a franchise, we have had two great eras: the early 1990s and the past five years. Are we currently spoiled, maybe? But I enjoy every moment of it. And if the Bills ever do win it all, I think, like many old-timers, we'll go to the party of the century in Buffalo and then die some time later that week, having finally accomplished the last big thing on our bucket list. Go Bills! I think 🙂

I think later is better for emotional and mental rest as much as physical. It's a long season and a break right before the stretch run is a good thing. But, it is what it is, so make the best of it. Aren't the Bills undefeated (8-0) coming out of the bye week under McDermott? Flat, maybe? 8-0, yes.

What was Gabe in for? Regardless, I'm glad he is free now and has a chance to reset his life.

The NFL does not want to waste the Bills' TV ratings on an international game. Only fans of the teams involved bother getting up early on a Sunday morning to watch these games. And I always forget they are on and usually only catch the last quarter, if it's a good game, which it rarely seems to be. They are gimmick games.
