  1. True, that "crowd" of 5 people is hard to convince.
  2. If Seymour doesn't report, the Patriots won't get the draft pick.
  3. Looks like Jacksonville can sigh in relief, collectively.
  4. Gee, there's a shocker. And as they say, you can't measure heart. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...9090902360.html
  5. It's not dissimilar to BSPN making Ralph look like a doddering old fool with his "I didn't understand it" joke after that joke of a CBA was signed and all the other owners where whooping it up and popping champagne like they'd just scored some major victory. Some people are just too dull to grasp humor.
  6. Actually, how he truly feels about it is revealed by what he said in his clarification, after laughing at his initial response, i.e. "it's all right." He neither loves it nor hates it. But he'll still go 110% and produce in it.
  7. Obviously you weren't following the Peters' saga too closely. Peters got a new deal after his 2nd season in the NFL, and a nice raise at that, after playing half a season at RT. And in his contract, there was a $1M bonus for playing LT. He immediately demanded to be the highest-paid LT in the NFL after his first Pro Bowl. What I suspect the Bills will do is not pay Bell more until he's scheduled to become a RFA (after his 3rd season), having been burned before.
  8. As a vested veteran, Walker isn't subject to the waiver wire. He became a FA as soon as the Bills released him.
  9. Maualuga over Maybin? Maybin was the 11th overall pick and Maualuga was the 38th overall pick.
  10. TO hasn't liked a lot of things. He still goes out and produces so BFD.
  11. Pish posh. It was a great CBA. The owners lost power, gave the players a 5% raise, did nothing to address the ridiculous rookie salary problem, and the rich owners had to "subsidize" the poorer ones. What's not to love?
  12. Everything is relative.
  13. Good to hear.
  14. I didn't see the game, but reportedly Walker looked horrible against the Lions. Which was one of the main reasons they made the decision to cut him.
  15. Post something about tainted SB's and cheating by videotaping. That'll stop the yucks right quick!
  16. I'll wait to see the results. On the BBMB, I had been advocating Bell at LT and Walker at RT, with Butler at LG. I don't know what soured the Bills on Walker so much (attitude, weight, performance?), but there must have been something to make them want to cut him, beyond money (he wasn't getting paid a ton for a starting RT, but was for a backup OT).
  17. Maybe the Bills like what they see out of Butler at RT and don't want a high-priced backup OT? I don't know and won't know until the season plays out a bit.
  18. I can buy that, but why not put him back at RT?
  19. From what everyone is saying, Bell will be the starting LT. Do you have any different info?
  20. Chambers is the depth, knows the system better than Simmons, and isn't coming off a major injury.
  21. That's what I'm thinking, but with this franchise, you never know.
