  1. As long as Walker doesn't say "most of those sacks were hustle sacks so they weren't my fault" and "well who cares if I gave-up a sack, look at what I'm being paid," I'll be fine with anything else that comes out of his mouth. And know that he's giving his best effort.
  2. There's no reason why he shouldn't drop it by 2 games. He offered that to Marshall and Johnson.
  3. Who covered Evans in the Raiders game? If it was Asomugha, then yeah, he was probably single-covered. That guy is the best CB in the league.
  4. The Parkers aren't Maybin's agents. Joel Segal is. The Parkers are holding-up Crabtree's signing, which affects Maybin's signing.
  5. Yes, I failed trying to teach you something. Should have realized it before I wasted my time on a cretin like you. Who has he had throwing the ball to him? I'd even take Delhomme over who the Bills have had since he's been here.
  6. So if the owners and vereran players don't like the system, how in the heck has it lasted so long? This isn't a problem that just appeared since the last CBA.
  7. The marketing comes with a guy like TO, who is still a top WR in the league. I disagree that the Bills looked at this as more of a marketing move than a move to help them on the field, again because they brought in other WR's.
  8. I'm sure he got stronger. But I'd love to hear how many reps he can do now.
  9. The Bills could have said "TO is a great player, but a cancer and will likely upset the apple cart so pass," and then gone harder after someone like Joey Galloway. And Coles wouldn't have been a sexy FA pickup after signing Hangartner, Rhodes, and Florence, and that's why they really wanted in FA, but lucked-into getting TO instead. And bringing in Coles pretty much disproves the silly idea that it was purely a marketing move. They wanted an upgrade at WR. The marketing side was an added bonus.
  10. Yep. He's supposed to be a situational rusher because the Bills have Schobel, Kelsay, and Denney as the starters, and drafted Ellis last year. He'll get the next year or so in the Bills' S&C program, and should be up to a better every-down weight by next season. And he's already heavier than Schobel!
  11. The worst part is that Vick was incarcerated for 23 of the 32 games for which he was "suspended," meaning at best he was truly suspended for 9 games (in 2007). The announcement by Goodell was that he could miss another 5 games to start this season, bringing his total for actual games suspended to 14, for his heinous dog activities, lying to Goodell's face in their "sit down," and failing a drug test for marijuana. And Lynch "deserves" 3 games, or even 1 for hitting a pedestrian and having an illegal gun locked in the trunk of his car? Sad, just sad.
  12. Or when they dumped Dockery after just 2 years of a 7-year big money contract.

  14. Another fail is that Steve Smith barely eclipsed 1,000 yards in 2007, when Delhomme missed 13 games.
  15. The Bills had 5 DE on the opening day roster last year. This year they will be: Schobel, Kelsay, Denney, Ellis, and Maybin. The odd man out is Copeland Bryan.
  16. A "good" way? LMAO! It's different, but "good" remains to be seen. Most likely they'll dream to even be 7-9.
  17. So says the guy who jumps into every thread to defend a guy who, in not even 13 full games, gave up 11.5-12 sacks (depends on whether you read STATS or KC Joyner), committed 8 penalties, and who in his PC with his new team admitted that his contract affected his play and led him to not care if he messed-up because he wasn't being paid enough, and gave-up "hustle sacks." Yes Thurm, you're NOT a Peters lover. BTW, I did a search and found that Hugh Douglas, who does a lot of things for the Eagles' organization, talked to several players who have played against Peters and they said he was "soft and overrated." I guess we'll find out this year...whenever Peters gets on the field.
  18. Where is this article on what he saw and where he didn't talk about Bell? I only saw the "5 things" article.
  19. The Raiders gave 7th overall pick Darius Heyward Bey a 5-year $56M deal. Orakpo, taken 13th overall, signed a 5-year $20M deal. Crabtree, picked 10th overall, is looking for top-3 money. Expect Maybin to be out a LONG time.
  20. I think I heard a similar story about Thurman, only to find out the kid was an asshat.
  21. Well unlike Madoff, Lynch did that woman a favor. She'll probably think twice about going bar-hopping in the wee hours of the morning again, and put some coin in her pocket.
  22. Yeah that Gates, breaking into his own house! What a "thug!"
  23. The Eagles website is still trying to establish a Peters fan club.
