  1. It's hard to see the forrest for the lamps...
  2. So this is just a LAMP thread?
  3. I'm not sure what skills you're watching but that is a trombone she's playing. (But point taken)
  4. Probably depends on who is scanning your 'bone'... (I have not been seeing ads but I don't use my phone when on this site and my default page is set to the forums, not the main board)
  5. If Wilson lives up to his pre-draft hype though, he'll be a star in the Big Apple. He has the personality and looks that Madison Avenue loves. Darnold seems like a nice guy but not the right demeanor for NYC and NJ, IMO.
  6. It's a 2nd Round pick in 2022 though. That's roughly the equivalent of a 3rd Round pick this year. Maybe...but if you covet Mac Jones are you willing to stay at 12 and hope that NE* at 15 (or somebody else) doesn't jump just ahead of you and snag him? If SF really does want Jones. he's theirs at 3. It's a much iffier proposition at 12.
  7. I took Dyami in the 2nd Round of the last mock draft I did yesterday and posted in the 'Mock Draft Simulator' thread last night. These are the comments I had for him: "I just like this kid. Great vertical threat who can get deep and play in the slot or outside."
  8. No trades made in this one. Went heavy on defense: Round 1 (#30): Kwity Paye (EDGE - Michigan) -> Debated between Paye and Farley here but Farley's balky back worries me a little and I felt there would be better value later at CB than at Edge. Round 2 (#61): Dyami Brown (WR - North Carolina) ->I just like this kid. Great vertical threat who can get deep and play in the slot or outside. Round 3 (#93): Paulson Adebo (CB - Stanford) -> Good size and fit in McD's zone. Versatile and I find myself taking him in a lot of mocks. Round 5 (#161): Robert Hainsey (OT - Notre Dame) -> Swing tackle. Adds youth and depth at the OT spot. Round 5 (#174): Joshuah Bledsoe (S - Missouri) -> An infusion of youth at the third S spot and a 'Big Nickel' candidate. Round 6 (#213): Israel Mukuamu (CB - South Carolina) -> Another guy who keeps showing up late and I can't ignore. I don't think he lasts this long. Great size and more competition at CB and another possible Big Nickel candidate. Round 7 (#236): Khyiris Tonga (DT - BYU) -> Help for the DL at the 1 tech. My biggest regret with this mock was not grabbing an interior OL and maybe a RB later. Going heavy at CB/S limited my options. Otherwise, I was happy with it.
  9. That was my kid brother's 14th birthday...September 7, 1980. We had only been in VA a couple of years and that game wasn't being televised in Richmond but the whole family was glued to the TV watching the NBC scroll to keep tabs on the game. It was nerve-wracking until we saw the score go final: Bills 17, Dolphins 7. We erupted in glee after having endured '0 for the '70s'. What a great birthday present for my bro. To this day, that 1980 season is one of my favorite Bills seasons/memories of all time.
  10. Permission to join your klatch, boys. Gimme Elijah over Rondale eight ways to Sunday. I would be more than happy to hear EM's name called at #30.
  11. I'm sure I have no idea as to what it is you're referring... 🤔
  12. Just get them to serve Sahlen's hot dogs and list them on the menu as 'Lips and Massholes'...
  13. I said the same thing. Odd day to announce it. Given his age and the fact that he coached for 33 years, it would have made for a totally believable prank.
  14. They just announced that the gray face masks video was a joke and they are indeed going with white face masks for the 2021 season. I guess it was the appropriate year to make an announcement about masks...
  15. Take your meds and I'll meet you in the courtyard for some shuffleboard right after my nap.
  16. It is an April Fool's joke and this troll job of the fans by the players was pretty good, as far as April Fool's jokes go. That said, the team probably wouldn't have gone to that trouble if they weren't planning a future announcement to change the face masks. It will be interesting to see if they do and to watch so many people stress out over 'will they' or 'won't they'. 😂 Good job, Bills.
  17. I was torn between Brown and Tryon but pulled the trigger on the latter.
  18. No wonder. lol That didn't make sense. Thanks for the heads up.
  19. I love a lot of the choices listed for the Bills at 61 and would really like Dyami Brown but Vera-Tucker is sticking out to me like a sore thumb...hiding in plain sight. Have to grab him, IMO.

  21. All that poutine is slowing down your reflexes. 😁
  22. He went to the Giants in this scenario and not the Bills. I'm good.
