  1. He was a role player when he was with the 49ers but started the last two years for the Seahawks and is also a special teams contributor. He's only 25 and the Jest are banking on his potential. They gave him $33 million but I'm not surer how much of it is guaranteed.
  2. So, apparently, Watson personally contacted Atlanta:
  3. Agreed. He's a walking conundrum. I'm honestly surprised that his career never imploded. Good on him for making it work. He would have me on pins and needles, if he were on the Bills, but there is no denying the talent.
  4. Put me in this camp, as well. Gimme the savvy Jones and a speed WR at #25 (got the rosary out for Jameson Wiliams).
  5. Good get. Nice fit for this offense with Motor.
  6. Marcia announces her triumphant return to Tampa and the 'Three Stooges' of the NFC South are gouging and punching each other to get to Watson.
  7. There is a ton of speedy WR talent to be had in this draft at a much cheaper cost. No doubt in my mind that the Bills will be adding one in the top 3 rounds. At this early point in free agency, I'd say they go WR/CB or CB/WR in the first two rounds.
  8. From Williamsville to Jones Point.
  9. J-E-S-T...Jest, Jest, Jest!
  10. So Jerruh spent for a Hooker? What a shock...
  11. Yeah, I was just having a little fun with word play. I think most (all?) want Haack gone. He is/was here to hold for Bass but he's a brutal punter.
  12. Hawking to have Haack hacked from the roster?
  13. Depends on the cost (cap & capital) but I would explore it.
  14. The Cheats love to ship their LBs to Cleveland. 😁
  15. Noted. The other post quoted above yours was specifically referring to receiving a comp pick. I don't believe I misinterpreted that as well but, if so, mea culpa. My point about compensation is correct.
  16. Option 1 makes no sense when releasing him represents a cap savings of approximately $6 million. I don't see any way he stays 'as is'.
  17. Only players whose contracts have expired qualify for the compensatory formula. Players who are cut by the team are ineligible in this calculation.
