  1. "They're the worst!"
  2. Never...it's your penance for moving to that God forsaken state. Seriously, good luck...again.
  3. Oh, I forgot...it's a conspiracy.
  4. Well, he does have "cooze" in his name.
  5. Pretty much pisses on the parade of those who keep saying "Bledsoe has no fire in his belly...blah, blah, blah...we need a firey QB with emotion, like Kelly...blah, blah, blah..." Gee, imagine that, a teammate knows him better than us.
  6. Not for your arteries.
  7. Agreed. He's an all-time great and a personal favorite.
  8. 1. Hindsight is 20/20. 2. (See # 1). 3. Puh-leeeeeeeeeeease! You're not serious, are you? Neither was the answer. 4. Good trade at the time. It re-energized the fan base, boosted season ticket sales, and the Bills were in desperate need of a proven QB. 5. Salary cap. You can't keep everyone and the team was trying to dig out of salary cap hell. Keeping an aging Washington at his price demand would have been ludicrous. I'm sure you'll crucify TD again when the Bills are unable to re-sign all of their FAs at the end of the year. BTW...it's DonahOe, not DonahUe. Or were you talking about Phil Donahue? They both have white hair. Maybe you miss his show?...or are a fan of his wife, Marlo Thomas?
  9. Nobody...the NFL could kiss my a$$ and my money goodbye forever!! :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  10. I thought he got married, not DIED! (Although some would argue that it's the same thing)
  11. You beat me to it. This is a classic Parcells move...deflect the criticism and attention away from the team and turn the venom on yourself.
  12. If he's dropped into coverage or takes it upon himself to be "Johnny-on-the-spot" I expect him to turn his head and at least look for the ball. It was playable and he could have knocked it down had he been looking. Check out the photo of the catch...his hand is right in the WR's grill and Spikes is staring straight at the guy's chest. Of course, it never should have come down to that play, but I digress...
  13. I thought they were all extinct...wasn't he a herbivore?
  14. Since when does one get married to ward off depression? Marriage creates depression, that's why they invented strip joints.
  15. Bingo! Economics dictate as much as talent in today's NFL. A prime example is the situation in Cincinnati. After a phenomenal season, John Kitna was replaced by Carson Palmer for one reason and one reason alone...money. Does Cincy make that move so quickly if not for their investment in Palmer? Unlikely. Mike Williams is being paid tackle money, plain and simple. He either plays at tackle or he's released. You won't find any guards making his salary, nor will you see any drafted that high. It may be frustrating but that's the way it is...you won't see a position change by MW. RtDB is right.
  16. Indeed. Every year there seems to be one so called "destiny's darling" in the NFL. This year it appears to be the Jagoffs.
  17. Lighten up, Francis. Sometimes you gotta laugh to keep from crying.
  18. At this point, anybody with one victory is better than the Bills. Let's see how Detroit fares over sixteen games. I would argue that JAX & OAK are better that CHI & HOU. It's a marathon, not a sprint...unfortunately, the Bills have not yet decided to participate in this marathon.
  19. More to the point, what do Drew's teammates and coaches think of themselves? Missed assignments, missed coverages, stupid penalties, dropped passes, turnovers, lousy special teams play, poor execution, bad playcalling...the list goes on and on. What's needed is some serious introspection by the entire organization from the top down including, but not limited to, Bledsoe.
  20. Sorry, but that vacancy has been promised to RJ.
  21. DB: "There's no way this could have happened, Bobby. I hadn't even counted to two Mississippi." BS: "Why don't you try counting Ohios...they're shorter."
  22. You know, strangely enough, I thought the same thing after watching the debacle that is this Bills team. I don't know where or how they're going to manage to score the points but... The upcoming NE game has a similar feel to a few seasons ago when the RJ "led" Bills started the season 0-3 with Steve Young and the big, bad 49ers coming to town. RJ had a phenomenal game and the Bills completely dominated. I was at that game and couldn't believe what I was seeing. It completely turned their season around. Plus, NE will be going for the all time consecutive wins record and may be a little tighter than usual...you know the Bills will be trying like hell to avoid being a dubious part of that history in their own building. Even though they've given me no indication that they'll turn this thing around anytime soon: "NOBODY CIRCLES THE WAGONS LIKE THE BUFFALO BILLS!!!!!"
  23. JP breaking his leg was a blessing in disguise. You and every Bledsoe dissenter and doubter (add me to that list, now) would be screaming in vain for JP to come in off the bench to no avail. You think it's frustrating now? Imagine how you'd feel with a healthy JP and the GM/coaching staff unwilling to pull the trigger. I figure they just saved you a ton on blood pressure meds.
  24. The way this season has started and with the majority of attitudes on this board you should be in heaven, Rudy. This is right up your gloomy alley.
