Sorry, Tom, but I'm breaking trump here...Bills, Sabres, and Mets...or is that "Mess"? M-E-S-S, Mess, Mess, Mess.
Welcome, Peter. You'll find this board a refreshing (or is that frightening?) change from your usual AV nerd bashing board.
Not to worry, buddy...the wheels are in motion as we speak and I'm trying my best to work it out. Hopefully, I can let you know something by next week.
You and Lisa have a safe and fun trip and DEFINITELY get the Primanti Brothers sandwich...I can vouch for it first hand! Yum!!!
Tonight - Kicking back and relaxing...maybe finishing some stuff around the house and watching a little baseball.
Saturday morning - Going with wifey to take the two boys to "The Pumpkin Patch" and pick out their future Jack-o-lantern.
Saturday night - Going to dinner with my family for my birthday, which is actually on Sunday.
Sunday - Watching the Bills get their much needed and overdue first win. They wouldn't dare spoil my birthday, would they??
Monday - Off of work for Columbus Day but the kids' daycare is closed for a "teacher day", so my long weekend isn't so long afterall. I may take them to see 'A Shark Tale'...going to dinner that evening with the wife's family for my birhday.
Tuesday - Going back to work to get some rest.
As human beings, without hope we have nothing. Stop pi$$ing on his dreams, no matter how pie in the sky. It's refreshing to see someone without a bitter attitude around here...
Things don't look good and they've dug themselves one big hole but until they are mathematically eliminated, yeah, they have a chance.
"Did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor??"
Just curious...how is it that the Bills, and not one of the two New Jersey football teams, are your favorite seeing as all your other favorites are NYC teams?
Now that the MLB playoffs are underway, I was just pondering the futility that is my sports fan existence.
1) Bills fan
2) NY Mets fan
3) Sabres fan
4) Can't stand the NBA
Thank goodness for fantasy football (although not R.Rich's Keeper League)
He's definitely gone. Last week, a caller asked Andrew Siciliano where Tony was and AS said Tony was "no longer with Fox Sports radio." He didn't go into specifics, but said working with Tony was "the best four years of my life."
While I like AS and Van Earl Wright, the show is not the same. I hope Tony B. ends up on the airwaves soon. He's, by far, the best sports guy in radio, IMHO.
Objectively??? You're joking, right? Music, by its very nature, is SUBJECTIVE. It's amazing that people call others morons for not liking what they like. Just because Ed likes BNL does not make them better than the Eagles or any other band. There's no right or wrong answer and certainly no way to quantify this poll. Live and let live...
