It was actually 1974-1983, but who's counting? (BTW, I loved those unis, too!) I also love these throwbacks...can't wait to see them in action!!! They will bring back some very fond childhood memories and I'll definitely have the TiVO fired up. My very first time watching the Bills as a little kid were when they were wearing these unis!

Thurman used to be seen out regularly on Chippewa until the wee hours of the morning on Saturday nights...in season. It never seemed to affect his game day performance...although he did become an alcoholic.

Agreed. TH has no leverage whatsoever. Who cares if he's not traded...he's a valuable insurance policy in case WM goes down. Don't believe for a minute that he'll holdout in a contract year...that would be career suicide and would cost him major $ which he'll never recoup. I agree on the blocking. The O-line has been neglected for far too many years now. I was floored when the Bills selected Parrish...I didn't think it filled a pressing need until I stepped back and thought about it. The bottom line is that I trust Tom & Tom and McNally, who started to make chicken salad out of his chicken $hi_ linemen by the end of last year. I was really hoping that Khalif Barnes would fall to the Bills at 55 and was pi$$ed when he was taken at 52. So close and yet so far.

Exactly. In a word, it gives Mularkey's offense versatility. He likes to incorporate gadget plays and get the TEs involved, as well. Every team in the league assumes that the Bills will be a running team...having as many options as possible at your disposal keeps your opponents off-balance.

And how long have you been a GM in the NFL?????! You're actually counting TD's first year when this team was in cap hell and had to be gutted?? He's cleaned up the cap mess and this team came within an eyelash of making the playoffs last year. Pieces have been steadily added and a solid foundation built. Get a fuggin' grip already.

If not for his own stupidity, he'd be an UFA right now. No way he holds out...he needs the money. The Bills have all the leverage with him. TH, you and your agent need to sit down and shut up. If the Bills don't get what they want for you, you can walk next year. Stay and play the good soldier as a valuable backup and get yourself a decent contract in '06. Sit out and reduce your next contract to the vet minimum.

That's debatable and not quantifiable at this time. Only time will tell...with Wyche and Clements mentoring him, I like JP's chances to be better than either Smith or Rodgers.
