  1. Good analysis...agree with all of this. Plus there's been a run on DEs in the 3rd Round. The Bills need to get more pressure off the edge and this kid can play, trust me. Now I'd like to see them get TE Martin Rucker from Missouri.
  2. A BJ might just be the cure for what ails her...
  3. It's called drafting for value. If the Bills have him rated higher than their highest rated TE, they probably take him. He's a steal 10 picks into the 3rd Round.
  4. I don't think he's got the measurables to be a complete douchebag. Although he's indeed a douchebag, ESPN reached by hiring him. I had him ranked third on my douchebag board. A high profile organization like ESPN should have hired a complete douchebag. It's obvious that they just don't get what the whole douchebag-hiring process is all about.
  5. Considering that Brady is the only Michigan QB in recent memory worth a damn on the field, I like the odds of Henne being a bust for the dulfelons.
  6. I don't think Connor will be there but I'd love it. That said, either Tennessee TE Brad Cottam (6' 8'', 275, 4.70) or Missouri TE Martin Rucker (6' 4.5'', 249, 4.71).
  7. What about Parrish? He went to Miami. He might not be the brightest bulb in the box but he still went to college.
  8. Cool. John Leypoldt was a pretty good kicker for the Bills back in the '70s. I believe he is still the only Bill to never have attended college.
  9. Martellus Bennett, TE - Texas A&M (6' 6", 250, 4.75).
  10. Well, well. Now let's go get Martellus Bennett from Texas A&M to play TE for us (6' 6", 250, 4.75).
  11. From Scout.com: "McKelvin has a good body type, and the frame to add a few pounds. At the Combine, he showed off his straight line speed, running a sub 4.4 while displaying the ability to stop and start without losing speed, and the ability to maintain top end speed. Best suited for a Cover-2 scheme. A fluid athlete and dynamic game-breaker when he gets his hands on the football as evidenced by his seven TDs (five punt returns, one kick return, one interception return)."
  12. Exactly, John. See my post above. This was a GREAT pick by the Bills!
  13. You guys are crazy. Get a grip. This was a great move by the Bills. There won't be any CBs this good when they pick in the 2nd. Who was going to cover Moss, Wilford, et al? The Bills can trade back into the 1st to get a WR and, if not, there will likely still be a good one available @ #41. Chill out and watch them get their WR next.

  15. They also took away their annual beat up-on-Buffalo-after-the-bye-week game.
  16. Lori, thanks for dredging up those suppressed memories. Unfortunately, I remember them all. And while we're at it, maybe you should say that "You people just need to work on your extreme dislike, is all." Afterall, Rich started this thread and you know his golden rule: You shouldn't hate. Rich, where are you? You start a countdown thread and stop after one friggin' day???! Slacker!
  17. Kelly @ #28 and Hardy in the 2nd Round I can live with. Otherwise, no thanks. Just say no to Hardy in the 1st...not worth it.
  18. You may be right, but I'd be no happier to see them get Gholston, for example. At some point, they're going to have to address their aging LB situation. You can count on that front office bringing in "an immediate impact as a rookie" @ #7 regardless of whether or not it's Rivers. Again, pick your poison. They definitely suffer from an embarrassment of riches. Nice problem to have.
  19. 100% agree with you on Gumble but not on Collinsworth. He, too, is an annoying blowhard and should have been sacked years ago, as well; however, if I could only choose one it would definitely be Gumble. Hey, Collinsworth...why the long face?
  20. Let's be fair here. It would be after the Bills finished with the best record in the NFL and then lost in the AFC Championship Game, NOT the Super Bowl.
  21. No offense, but who cares? Seriously. They're going to get an outstanding prospect at #7, regardless. It's pick you're poison so why worry?
  22. Really like Harvey @ #11. I'd be satisfied with this draft as long as Hardy is taken in the 2nd and not the 1st and if Schmitt is taken with the compensatory 4th or in the 5th...but not with the original 4th.
