1) He: "Thanks for the mammaries..." 2) She: "Can you take one with my camera, too? I want to show the team what position to assume when the Bills come to town!"

The Bills are putting themselves in a bad position

There's a fine line between prophetic and pathetic. He's the latter. -
Way to jinx it. No more of this. You don't talk about a no-hitter in the third inning, either. Word.

Well, Mangina is from the rotten Belichick* tree.

That's "crayonz"...but then again, that's just another to add to your list. Must be of the toxic variety, no doubt. We should "pull for the Bills to lose". Wow. A new low is dipshitdom. -
You play the schedule the league gives you, you don't get to choose. 4-0 is 4-0. There are plenty of teams who aren't perfect despite playing "pushovers". Just ask Denver or New England*. Hell, Jacksonville nearly let one get away AT HOME to a lousy Houston team. Enjoy the ride for once. Why the fug be such a fatalist?

You're all wrong. I had my Mets t-shirt on under my Poz jersey. Once the Metropolitans choked away yet another playoff berth, I rid myself of the bad karma and put my Bills t-shirt on under my jersey. Problem solved.

Could they lose either the Oakland game or the St. Louis game? Sure. But neither of these is a "trap" game. A trap game, in the truest sense of the word, is a game that is followed on the schedule by a strong (or perceived strong) opponent. It's a game where you're looking past your current opponent to the next. If, for example, New England* or even another division opponent like the Jest were after Oakland, then the Raider game would be considered a trap game. St. Louis could be considered a trap game moreso than Oakland IF the Cardinals continue to win, but only slightly. They're an NFC West opponent...hardly the stuff of great anticipation. San Diego can't be considered a trap game either because they follow the Bye Week. If the Jest continue to win, then the dulfelons could be considered the "trap" game. Although they're a hated, division rival, they shouldn't have a very good record and the game is in Miami. The following week? Favre and the Jest.

I got a question for all you suns a bitches
ExWNYer replied to Lv-Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
522?? It's pretty up there (very scenic) but too slow with all the lights, etc. I've been that way and this way is faster: 95N - 495N - 70W - 76W (Breezewood - PA TNPK) - 79N (@ Cranberry) - 90E Aldrich's was OK, but I certainly wouldn't call it "a great ice cream place". That moniker would belong to Sullivan's in Sheridan. From the former Aldrich's, head a short ways up 60N and make a right onto 20 (@ the Wendy's on the corner). Go a little up the road and you'll see it on the left hand side. It's a cozy little place. I remember going there as a kid when it was still called Steve's (my dad grew up in Dunkirk). Different name, same great place. Gawwwwwd, I love that place. There are also several outstanding wineries along there. Just follow the green signs with the grapes on them. A few within a couple miles of Sullivan's: Liberty Vineyards, Woodbury, Merritt Estates, & Willow Creek. -
Sen, I agree with your first point but the bottomline is: 1) Edwards didn't get hurt. 2) The Bills are 2-0. 3) If Peters gets hurt down the line, we've found out that the Bills don't need to panic because Walker & Chambers are more than capable of manning LT & RT, respectively. 4) The Bills are now a better team with Peters back and the O-line has gained valuable experience in his absence. 5) It's time to move forward and enjoy the ride. This team has the look and feel of something special. They seem focused, dedicated to one another, well coached, and most importantly hungry & talented. 6) Rich, you're right. Your opinion IS meaningless...just kidding big guy. 2-0 feels really good for a change, doesn't it? (BTW, I'm still not happy with you for not being at the OAK game with me this coming week) LET'S GO BILLS!!!!!

It's funny you should post this. Did anyone else watching on TV pay attention whenever they showed a crowd shot (and there were plenty)? I swear I remember thinking, "Holy fug...this is one ugly, inbred, white-trash-looking group of bandwagon rednecks." Seriously. Mullets, cheesy moustaches...awfulness personified. It was something straight out of the How-to-be-a-Trailertrash-Frontrunner handbook.

Agreed. Nicely put, EZC. I'm sure Peters will eventually get his money and I, for one, will be glad that he's locked up going into his prime. That said, I DO NOT and I mean DO NOT want to see him get his scratch before Lee Evans. Lee has approached his situation with class and has played the good soldier. Do the right thing, Buffalo, and show Evans his well deserved money. GO BILLS!!!!!

You drafted 'Houshamazzilli'?

Hey...if it helps the board, I'm all for it. Wonder if he needs a nudge off the curb... Seconded. -
Grant, get well soon. You're not an ordinary, run-of-the-millbank type of poster. You're needed on this board. God bless.

That's sexist and an insult to Lori, Cablelady, aussiew, 89, and many other outstanding members of this board belonging to the fairer sex.

Grade the Bills overall draft
ExWNYer replied to Oneonta Buffalo Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think instant evaluations of drafts are fruitless, but who were the four trolls who graded it an 'F'??? Seriously. Brilliant analysis. McKelvin & Hardy alone would prevent your conclusion. Two top-end players who fill immediate needs. -
The Bills spent $75 million last season upgrading the O-line. They re-signed Whittle this year for depth and took a project with huge upside late in the draft in the form of Bell. They traded for Marcus Stroud, signed Spencer Johnson, drafted Chris Ellis, and get the benefit of an added year of experience and health for McCargo (not to mention Poz) for the D-line. I'm a proponent of building a team from the lines out, too, but is it OK to fill holes elsewhere?? Jesus H., people!

*Official Day 2 Draft Thread*
ExWNYer replied to In space no one can hear's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"Omon led NCAA Division II with 2,337 rushing yards (6.3 per attempt) and a whopping 37 touchdowns in 2007, in the process becoming the first back in NCAA history to run for more than 1,500 yards in four different seasons. He's not likely to wow anyone with his straight-line speed, but defenders know how tough he is to bring down." -
Mayock just said the Bills are having a solid draft

FSU LB Geno Hayes was just selected in the 6th by Tampa Bay. All 100 have now been taken. -
Cleveland just traded up with Dallas to take him. Gave up their 3rd next year! WTF??? They don't already have enough targets on offense? There's only one football to go around and last I checked they had a guy named Kellen Winslow at that position.
